Not much to do about it. It's not like they can start calling the play dead when the puck hits the ref. You'll have players taking legal potshots at them all night long in their own zone.

Anybody complaining about the effectiveness of our powerplay should go back and watch that tape. Kiprusoff was no less than amazing for that stretch. Unbelievable. A lesser goaltender would have given up three, never mind the two consecutive post shots.
