I'm sure it's just the way he does his commentary. Everybody has their own style obviously and I would guess he does it just to establish his "rhythm". It's akin to Doc Emrick's "....back to Lidstrom.... back to Datsyuk... back to Zetterberg... back to Lidstrom, DRIVE!!!" I'd be surprised if he talked like that when he wasn't doing a game.

He doesn't even stall for time with it, it's just a part of how he talks I think. Incredibly aggravating.

That was my plan for the last couple games while I've been moving and haven't had access to Centre Ice. Apart from, uh, Paul Woods' uh, tendency to uh, use the word uh, uh a lot, it's uh, a lot better than uh, nothing.

I just played the Devils in NHL 09 in the SCF. They roughed me up like none of the Western teams I faced could. yeah, I know it's a game, but the Devils are seriously an extremely good team. I suspect them and Boston have the best shots in the East.
