There's a bunch of people Wings fans have every right to hate (Pronger being #1 on that list) but I always have a couple of people that I just can't stand for no real reason. For me, Devin Setoguchi is at the top of it and I have no idea why. I've probably never read a single quote of his, but that doesn't change me hating him for no reason at all. Those are generally called French last names on account of them being French Canadian.

CBC's people are alright and Jim Hughson is one of my favourites (time for Bob Cole to hang up the mic, though). But I really don't like the way NBC handles its coverage of hockey on the whole. My statement about CBC's not being great is because of how uninterested I thought they sounded after the Cup win, and the only good part about NBC is Doc Emrick (DRIVE!!!). Give me my homerish FS-D broadcast team any time, and I say that as someone living in the Leafs market

If those two get back into form I think they will be great again this playoff season. Unfortunately, both of them were decidedly below par until Stuey was hurt and Junior got paired with Senior.

Every time I watch Osgood's left hand flailing around as a puck goes through him I cringe. Ultimately the difference between Osgood and Conklin is that the number of "bad" goals that get through Conklin is lower than the number of "bad" goals that get through Osgood. Second chances, clearing rebounds, heavily screened shots and deflections are issues that the defense needs to sort out; if the goalie (whoever it is that night) makes the saves he's "supposed" to make, then I think it's almost certain the Wings' GA count would be quite a bit lower.
