You're probably right about that. I just remember that Mule-Z-Rex was a line to start and that it got changed, I don't remember how long they were together. At this point, with the juggling that's been going on, there's no harm in trying any combination of forwards beyond Pav's line.

Babs had the Hudler/Z/Franzen line going in the preseason and it was productive, but it slowed to a grinding halt once the regular season began. He shuffled the middle two lines at that point.

My parents and I have been to two Wings games at the Joe now and even they recognized Datsyuk as being an absolute monster. They also watched the entire WCF and SCF (an impressive feat considering neither of them have ever been interested in NHL hockey). so yeah, my homer statement Going back the last six weeks, Pavel Datsyuk has been the best player in the National Hockey League in that time.

We deserved to lose this game from the moment the second period started. Nothing but shame for anyone not named Christopher James Osgood, Pavel Datsyuk or Henrik Zetterberg. Dishonourable mention goes to Niklas Kronwall, Brad Stuar, Kris Draper, Kirk Maltby and Tomas Kopecky. -
