That wouldn't make any sense, we seemed to do okay in the SCF without him.

You guys are all lucky as hell. I bought a signed copy of Gordie Howe's book from Mr. Hockey himself on the concourse last month when I was at the Joe, but that's the extent of my Red Wings good fortune.

you got wings bench row 3 seats this morning? Jeez... there is a horseshoe up your ass I think.
-
Great pictures, pretty awesome to see all the players 3 feet in front of you.

Sounds like I shouldn't have fallen asleep in the 2nd period in this one. What can I say, watching the Wings lose every race to the puck for about 10 minutes tends to induce sleepines..

The first goal surprised Ozzy, as Lids made a great poke check and unfortunately it wound up perfectly on Pyatt's stick for a very quick shot. Ozzy had no chance, deep in his crease against the rush. Second goal was weak, he didn't cover the post tightly enough and Wellwood zeroed it right in on him. Third one was a result of the live boards, missed shot landed right on Raymond's stick and all he had to do was get it on net. Fourth one was a knuckleball that handcuffed Ozzy up high, not much he could do to prevent a rebound, but the puck basically went through a Wing defender and on Henrik Sedin's stick. The last one was deflected twice, I think, not much he could do about THAT one either. Overall, the second goal was the only one he probably should have had. The other four were pretty much bad breaks and Vancouver did a good job of converting on all of their lucky bounces.

HAPPY HUDLER. I love this guy.

What a goal.

Kari Lehtonen hasn't played since the end of October. He's not exactly a top-flight goaltender, but still, that counts as injured I think. Fleury is at least a week away from returning, Khabibulin is day-to-day with a lower body injury.

Wooooooooooooooooooow.

Welp.

FUUUUUCK

Agreed. This game vs. Boston and the game last month against San Jose are examples of what happen when we play a legitimately good all-around team. Something is seriously wrong with this team and it's been said that all will work itself out for the last 20 games. That doesn't appear to be the case.

When I say "all Bruins" I mean that the broadcasters wouldn't stop talking about them even when they were playing horribly. See the post before
-
Even before they scored the first goal, it was all Bruins. I'm just saying they're unusually homerish tonight. Even Baldy McGuire wasn't this bad on Wednesday night when the Wings were down.

The Boston announcers are massive homers. I have heard nothing but Bruin love for the last 10 minutes of hockey.
