I think the Ducks are playing better than the Sharks. Somehow, the Sharks offenses have been dismissed for a time.

Great game. Killed all BJ's powerplays and our offenses were clicking with both defenses and Ozzie. Ozzie has to keep his late performance and also good to see Hossa is back with a goal tonight. Besides, don't fotget this one was back to back game and BJ is a pretty good team this season. If we work hard, the result comes out. That was the story for both Ozzie and the Red Wings tonight. Now, let's hope the f***s will beat the Sharks

This is a payback time. There is hell no understandable acception if the Wings lose again against this team by a big score or even a lose. The Red Wings have to show their best work here while the Blue Jackets are hard working team, harder when they play against us. Either Conklin or Osgood should come up big and the Wings defenses have to take Nash and Vermette successfully. They are big cautions against the Wings. Too bad Filp is out because he has been hot lately but the Wings got back Hossa and hope ZDH line is put together and the Wings should come up big to play very hard and no sloppy game anymore. This is a revenge against the Blue Jackets. No joke game anymore. Come up big Red Wings. Go Detroit Red Wings, I believe in you. Make a revenge against the Blue Jackets.

They still can make the playoff this year. Playoff race is left with around 16 games for each team. I knew they would be good but I worried their goalies. However, they now have Jonathan Quick and Ersberg who are good prospects and can be good goalies. If they can have some veterans, they will be a good team Whatever, it is going to shoot out let's see

Going to OT. If the Kings could score just one of those good break away chances, they already could easily take this game by 2 or 3 goals but they did not. Both teams got one point in pocket so let's see what is going to happen in OT.

Incredible guy. When I look him, just reminds me the time when there were three great goaltenders: Brodeur, Hasek, and Roy few years ago. Impressed how this guy is still playing as the best goalteder when both Hasek and Roy are gone now.

I am happy with today's game. I did not watch the 1st and 2nd but it looks good. Good to see our offenses are clicking and Ozzie stole the game for us in the 3rd when we became liitle sloppy But, we have to put ZDH line again. More than that, congrats to Ozzie. He deserved 300 wins and he is the great part of this organization. Hopefully, he can keep up this consistency and be ready to compete with Conks for the starter

Blues have been hot lately so the Wings have to careful on this road game. Still, good to see our injured pieces are coming back and have been except for Lilja. Just want to see some defenses pair changes: Lidstrom-Kronwall, Rafalski-Stuart, Ericsson-Chellios

Why is there a statement calling specific people bandwagons? I think people who do not make any criticism on the Wings are bandwagons or just bunch of people who do not know anything about the sports. If the team is playing great, they should be encouraged but when they play bad, they should be blamed hard. It does not matter we make points from this game or not. The point will not be our problem. 97 points right now and we are on pace to reach the point of 110 or more than that or less than that. The problem of this team is that they have to rely everything on their offenses. Except for Lids, Raffy, Lilja, and Ericsson, can you guys ever feel comfortable when Stuart and Kronwall are on the ice? They just lost their playing style. They are not Lidstrom who can play the puck very well. They are big guys so they have to hit. What happened to them this season? Did they forget how to hit over the summer? I did not see that many hits from Stuart and Kronwall. This season's Wings is very similar to the Red Wings in 02-03 season, got upset by the Ducks in the first round. They had offenses but the problem of goaltending killed us in that time. There can be same happening this season. What makes me still believe the Wings are on the way to repeat the cup is their offenses are insane and tons of veterans who can overcome the trouble. If we can play last 10 games with the great effort, we can be hot in the playoff. If not, don't know what's gonna happen

Good post. There is no reason for us to blame Babcock because Babcock makes some good strategies but lazy 2nd pair defense line is killing us this season. But I think more than what they want to keep their lead, I think they just stay on the emotion of feeling too comfortable with the lead. Hockey is similar with Soccer as putting the object into the net but one different is that unlike soccer, there is momentum in the hockey. That's why the leading team should be careful. To the time we allowed the 3rd goal of the Flames, it was fine. I am not angry until that situation but what makes me angry is that the Wings did not wake up since that time and allowed 3 goals in 3 minutes which is ridiculous in a way. To summarize, it is not a fault of Holland or Babcock. It is a lack of motivation and it has not changed since the beginning of the season. I just don't know what to say. This season's Red Wings is the worst Red Wings since 1997-1998, the first time I watched them to play. However, different than that, if you consider the playoff hockey is a low scoring game, the Red Wings' now playing style cannot be fit to the playoff hockey style. In the playoff, what matters is a consistent goaltending and a scorer. We have scorers, a lot I think but we have to be nervous when 2nd defense pair is on the ice. I personally don't think the Wings will go out in the 1st round but if they don't play with heart, no surprise they head to the golf course early.

Let me briefly summarize. This game was just a terrible game I mentioned before. However, we have to blame Conklin on this game. Unlike the mid of the season, he has been atrocious lately. Well, except for the game against the Avs but this is not the game we want. I thought we would win on the 2nd period of the game but I still felt nervous because this team let so many times that other teams would come back. No different story than that and it just happened on the ice. Different than the last season, I never felt comfortable even though when we lead by pair of goals. This is not a type of play that can be alive in the playoff. By now, I do not see this team can go far in the playoff. It is not a problem of offense, defense, goaltending, attendace, or coaching. The problem is on players' mind. Are they still in the feeling of enjoying last year's stanley cup champs? I really don't know that no movement in the trade dead line was good or not. At that time, I thought no move on anyone in the Wings was a good thing but if I think right now, I think we had to fix the problem of goaltending. Backstrom had a trouble to resign with the Wild and if we made an offer by trading Backstrom to Stuart, that would be good. Trade deadline is over so we cannot regret but this kind of game is repeating all year long. With blaming Conklin tonight, we have to blame our 2nd line pair. What were they doing tonight? Kronwall just got some stupid penalites and Stuart was just standing apart and watched the puck went into the net. They have talnets but they are being lazy since the first game of the season. I think Nick has been fine and Rafalski is still producing points. Ericsson has been enough but what are Kronwall and Stuart? At least Kronwall produces points while Stuart is doing nothing this season with the salary cap of around 3.5 million. This is a waste of the cap if we also consider the cap will go down by the overall global economic barrier. We seriously need some hungry players. That's why I want Leino, Lilja, and Helm on this team with Hossa. These guys want to capture the spot of the team or win the cup. We need players that can boost up the atmosphere of this team. Regardless of the Wings' result this season, the list we have to not resign or trade -Stuart -Kopecky -Chellios -Lebda -Kronwall(chance) -Samuelsson etc...

What a terrible game this was. What's wrong with this team this season? Are they not hungry anymore? This game was such a joke. We dominated them until the 2nd period but we forgot how to win in the 3rd, let them to come back from the deficit. Seriously, this team needs to realize the fact they are playing poorly. Conklin was pretty bad for last 3 goals he allowed, unacceptable. We have to allow fewer goals and this game had to be done with a win.
