Now, I hope guys need to realize the importance of the goalie. Mason is covering up some big saves against us. When both Franzen and Hossa will be FA, we do not have to sign both. Regard the season Nick's season is over, let's get Luongo. We need a good goalie. If we sign with both Hossa and Franzen, what is our ridiculous goaltending gonna be? Osgood and Howard? I am not blaming those two goalies but can we go far with them next season? Hell no. Is BJ defense playing great right now? No, but Mason is covering up their faults. I am not saying Osgood is playing bad right now. I am only talking about only the importance of goalie. This BJ team looks like 05-06 season's Oilers with Rolloson, who killed us. Same with 03-04 season's Flames, which played very hard and beat us. We just look lazy right now. We had 3 days break before this game. Well, maybe Mason turns back to his games after a little slump but come on, this game is just brutal. Why can we not play with full effort when we play against Preds, Jackets, and some other weak teams?

What is our defense really doing tonight? Even cannot pass the puck well and not covering BJ players.. Ozzie is saving this team right now. Just horrible effort. They had some days off, it is not a back to back game and now hockey they are playing right now is just awful

There is no problem in this team's roster. It is just a lazy effort and ridiculous line ups. Next period, Zetterberg-Datsyuk-Cleary Franzen-Filppula-Huds Sammy-Draper-Maltby Downey-Kopecky-Meech(?) or ... ... ... whatever...

I just do not understand the line up. It looks like Datsyuk-Sammy-Mule, and Hank-Kopecky-Cleary.. Babcock just better put Datsyuk-Zetterberg-Cleary and change the line combos. Lines right now look ugly and no intense.

I think now Filppula is crushing the limit of his potential. He seems to play better lately and Conks was good I think even though I watched only last few minutes of the game. BTW, Babcock just better put Zetterberg and Datsyuk again

I see your point but the Flames also have defects on their defenses, Phaneur is not having a good season and just do not underestimate the Wings because the Flames got Jokineen from the Coyotoes. Everything matters with the team chemistry. Technically, Kipper is a good goalie but do not forget he is not having a great year. I think Kenny is trusting Conklin and Osgood will do good and both are doing pretty decent jobs lately except for the game against the Preds.

I never expected Wings will be hot on the Trade deadline. We were stacked up and still does. Kenny probably thought Neil could be good addition to this team but remeber guys, Kenny has done always right thing for this team and he probably pays attention to new contract with Hossa and Franzen, not trade.

BTW, this year's trade deadline was a joke, no interesting to see. I know we are already stacked up but other teams just trade only B level players, not A level players except for the trade between Pheonix and Calgary
