I am not sure I will be able to watch this game but I hope we will take this game. Last game against the Preds was a poor performance and lack of motivation and effort. We have to come up big this time to make the revenge on them. Hopefully, our PK on the ROAD, defenses, and Conklin will be able to do their job as last two games. Even though we score few goals and if we win, that will be fine. But if we score a lot and allow a lot of goals as many of our games this season, that will not be acceptable. Zetterberg has been good lately so hopefully now this time he can score. Wings take this game over the Preds by 3-1

Truth. St. Louis is actually the bottom team in the East and Pheonix is 12th in the West but I do not think they are particularly bad. Is it so unfair if I say Blues can make the playoff in the East by one game they beat the Bruins in SO? However, that is the truth. I mean, every team in the West has a chance to win. Do you guys remember when the media said Canucks would be the worst team in the league before the beginning of the season? Are they that good then now? No. But they can fight for the playoff spot. In the East, Buffalo, Philly, Montreal, and NYR are in the playoff spot but they cannot be as strong teams if they are belong to the Western Conference.

I heard last 4 seasons, West has just dominated East by winning percentage was between 57 percentage and 60 percentage. That is huge. Like you said, it will not be sexy if I benchmark for west vs east and west is far better than east by only this game. However, this pattern has not been changed for pretty long time. It really does not matter what conference produces the Champion team. If you watch some bottom teams in the West can compete really well against the top teams in the East, answers will come up. Again, I am not forcing you to believe my statement but I think it is the truth: West is dominating the East.

Now is this the difference between the Eastern Conference and Western Conference? West has looked to dominate East. Personally, I don't see the Bruins and Caps will go that far in the playoff. I think the Devils is the strongest team in the Eastern Conference right now. Still, no one knows though. Habs, Flyers, Rangers, Sabres, these teams somehow have no intensity. I really don't know what happened to the Habs. Before the season started, every Canadien media said the Habs would be the power house in the East but they have not been that good. Price is in slump, their PP is at the bottom, which was the 1st last season. Mostly, Kovalev is not as good as last season. And now they allowed 33 shots against the Flames while they shot only 13? Is there defense bad too?

I sometimes do not understand Babcock's PK stragedy. Why did he put KOPECKY in the PK? In my personal thinking, Maltby has been our best 4th liner and Draper has been looked better than one month ago. Kopecky should not be resigned. If Kenny resigns him because of resigining Hossa, that is ridiculous.

2 reasons we sucked up. -Bad goaltending -Bad defenses However, lately our defenses have been IMPROVED, still not as much as last season but I don't think we can blame all bad Pk on defenses anymore. Goalies should be the best penalty killer and that is what Conklin has done. He looks very calm in the all big games this season, no shaking up. We need to see how Osgood will do on PK too for late of the season but if he does not improve, no more chance.

Pretty much huh? Well yeah our offenses were not as good as YESTERDAY, but who cares, our offenses can be fabulous in anytime and we score 3 goals today and that is enough. I was impressed with Lilja and Conks again. Solid defensive game is what we want to watch. Even though the Pens is bad right now, shutout is special still and we did shutdown Malkin and Cindy very well.

I am not underestimating right now. I know they were a solid team last year but last year is last year and this year is this year. As we see, the playoff time is coming soon and even though Gonchar is back on the Pens, by the long injury, I don't think he will be able to perform well as last season. What I am saying is Gonchar backs, but if the Penguins offenses cannot provide any defensive plays this season, they will not go far in the playoff or even head to the golf course on April 4th.

What I am saying is only because Gonchar is gonna come back to the Pens, Pens defenses will not be better. I am sorry that I hurt Gonchar but that's the truth. Funny thing is Pens got Stall in the first round for 2-way forward but he is terrible on both offensive and defensive zones.

He was good in big games last year in the Pens too but stupid Therrien replaced Conks by Fleury who is a terrible goalie. That's how dumb they are. They better not make the playoff and Bettman will retire.

Penguins really do suck. Why did they make the playoff last 2 seasons? Because East is terrible, just bunch of joking teams.
