Why are you guys worrying? Did you guys forget our offenses have to score more than 4 goals to win when Osgood is in the net?

This is the PK we really want to watch even though we are playing against the Blues

Bring up Larsson and send Osgood to the GR to make him train himself from the laziness. In my opinion, Larsson will be at least better than the level of Osgood right now.

But the standing is only standing. We have to have some good playing. It does not matter what standing the Wings are in. If we finish between 1st and 4th, which is most likely to happen, I am going to be fine with that. We need to start to solve the problems we have. On goaltending, Osgood has been just awfully terrible this season no doubt about that. How can we rely on the goalie that has been worse than the average level of the goalie in the NHL?

Very much. Do we have a solid goaltending? No. Then who is even closer to the solid goaltending this season in the Wings? Conklin or Osgood?

It does not matter we cut the slump or not. We need to show the intensity of hockey. We have had only few perfect games. Only comfortable section of the Wings now is offenses and PP. Other than that, mostly PK on the road and goalies and defenses are playing very questionary this season.

I rarely agree with this part but Kron had a week off by ASG break but after he took a rest, he has looked even worse than before in my view. I think he is just having a bad season.

We all know we don't have Zetterberg now. Zetterberg is a really good PKer. But, before the defense, we cannot make the opponent to shot none during the PK. They will at least shoot twice or third times. Goalie should stop some. But Osgood has never been like that except for very few games.

We cannot cover every part on the defensive zone during the PK. For better PK, the goalie should be the best penalty killer. Even announcers and other teams' fans know Osgood is in a slump. And if we are still obstinate about putting Osgood as a starting goalie, it will not be pretty.

That's why we need to have Downey back into this team. Send Kopecky down, he is useless.

It was really boring to watch the 1st period. Besides, I am sad that our seats are empty, our average seating percentage is 99 percentage, even the Hawks sold out their games usually...

We really better win this game. Blues is the worst team in the league right now and if we lose to them today at home, that totally means we are in the slump right now.

I don't know why you said this but we are not bandwagons. Most of us, I am pretty sure they have been the Wings fans for long time, most guys are probably longer than me because I could not feed to watch hockey in my country before I came to Canada, only by sometimes in the Internet and satellite broadcasting. We all know we have differnet views but if you say we are bandwagons because we now blame on particular players by bad performances, thats wrong because every season, some players on teams are blamed. Just because Osgood is loyal and has been in this team for long time, it does not been Osgood should not be blamed. All people can blame players when they are playing bad and it is just a different thought by different people and when they are playing bad but players should not be bitched. That's a bandwagon.

I also watched Osgood's playing career, not like you watching 16 years, but I have for 6years. But it does not matter we have a lot of star players on our defensive zones because they are not playing like the level they are supposed to be. Not only checking the number of game, but go to the site again and check the SV percentage and GAA. Stats does not lie for goalie and we cannot put goalie like now Osgood in the playoff unless the goalie turns into a miraculous goalie. And stop blaming defenses because we know our defenses are not like last season but if you compare Conklin and Osgood, they barely face pretty much similar amount of shots on them but Conklin pulled out some shutouts already which Osgood even have made none so far. Did both goalies play with different defenses? No, they played with same defenses. I am not saying about you but some people here just blame defenses when Osgood allows even weak goals. There is no doubt Conklin is better than Osgood this season and this pattern has been in this team since the first game of the season. Nothing changed. We need to give more chances on Conks to start the game in Feb.

I am talking about the number of times. Even top goalies in the league sometimes allow 4 or 5 goals. Like Conklin, he let 4 or 5goals few times but thats it. Osgood's games are like allowing 4 or 5 goals too many times already. You need to go to NHL.COM and check the number of times of both our goalies about allowing more than 4 or 5 goals and that will make you understand.

I know your point about the Wings team itself has played sloppy. What I am talking about is stop being delusional of Osgood's performance this season. Against the Ducks, he was out of position again on the 3rd goal and people just here look to say Osgood was good in that game because he robbed Perry just at the last minute of 3rd period when it was EN for Anaheim. But I don't say his performance was bad, but he was not great, but enough, and it is what I expect him to be as a fan. The score does not lie and yes I watched the game we lost against the Stars in OT and he made some spectacular saves but allowing 5 goals is no excuse. Did you watch the game against the Sharks? He let 6 goals in and when Nabokov was not even great, but he made some saves on the breakaway. Even though any goalie in the NHL makes some unbelievable saves, if any goalie allows more than 4 or 5 goals in one game, there is no excuse for stating that goalie's perfomance is brutal in that game.

I don't know what he has improved. Could you tell me? Better SV percentage? Better GAA? Better position? If you think he has made a marked improvement, that is a joke even though I still love Osgood.

But we know this is a new season. No one discourages about Ozzie's last year's playoff performance and he was great doubtlessly. The thing I don't know what happened in the summer but Ozzie just looks lost right now no matter how defenses play right now. We have watched Osgood playing this season more than at least 20 games. I am not talking about letting goal like deflection and some break aways. Osgood sometimes even do not feel comfortable to save some easy shots.
