I don't concern about how popular it is. We know Kronwall and Osgood can be better than this. I know our 4th line is bad this season and there is a different expectation from fan and players, but we are fans, not players. Every fan expects a lot from their favorite team's players.

Fact, Osgood and Kronwall have been not on the level we expected. When Datsyuk was pretty bad in the beginning of the season, I never blamed Datsyuk. Honestly, I like both Osgood and Kronwall but they have been pretty bad so far this season.

well it was an interesting period to watch. Leino is awesome, he should stay here Detroit. But I don't think our defenses are bad. It is not a typical Wings defenses. It is a typical situation when Kronwall is on the ice though

I don't think we are playing bad. I thought Kopecky was pretty good today but I have not heard his name for little long time this game after 7 or 8 minutes were gone.

People here blamed me about that I keep saying Osgood should not be our first starting goalie. So, I write this by expecting many people's fingering on me. First, Osgood sucks. I liked him last season but this season I never seen him to struggle like this as I watched many of his career games. Some people here jus told me 'let's just wait'. Ok, the time has gone almost 50 games and Osgood is still not improving. As I said, if Osgood does not turn back to his prime again like the last season, he should not be our starting goalie regardless what some miraculous saves he makes. If Goalie allows like 3 or 4 goals every game, no player with that goalie can trust the goalie. And we cannot go far in the playoff with a terrible goalie. What I have been looking at this site and realized when Osgood allows goals, some people just say "that's is not Osgood's fault, defenses allowed a breakaway". I do not disagree about that. Then, can you guys say Osgood is a good goalie? I assume you watched the game against the Stars tonight. And you might see some good saves Turco made even though he was terrible in JLA throughout his all career. That's the difference maker. Why is there goalie in the net? I take some good deflections but he has no intensity anymore. Am I the only guy who feel scared when Osgood is in the net and never expect the game will be 2 goal games? Like the Sharks game, I did not say Nabokov was that good but he made key saves like breakaway from Datsyuk and Cleary. It is not even the first time Osgood allows around 4 goals. Told before, stats do not lie for goalies. It may make people angry but any starting goalie who is in one of the top 3 temas in the league and if he has save percentage lower than 900 and GAA is more than 3.00, that is ridiculous. Everygame when Osgood is in the net, we have to expect the Wings score more than 4 or 5 goals. That's absolutely a brutal way to win even though points are good. That should not happen in the playoffs. Personally, I will just send Osgood to AHL and test Larsson. I don't expect Osgood will bounce back to his games this season unless our defenses allow only 10 shots every game.

Seriously, some people here say we can sign with both Hossa and Fraznen by not resigning Sammy, McCarty, Chellios, and with trade Filppula to other team. I don't say it would be a bad decision. But we have to know Lidstrom is coming to an end of his career, well he can play more seasons by getting way less cap. And that time will also be when Osgood will retire. What this means is that we have to see the future of our defense and goalie. On our defenses, if Lidstrom does not play in the Wings, our defenses will not be this good anymore even though Raffy, Kronwall, Stuart, and Lilja are top defenses in the league. Lidstrom can do everyting, almost look like a quarterback in football. He can lead this team in both PP and PK. Besides, we don't need to say about his defensive skill, just amazing. But we cannot go on a way in the playoff with putting a young guy like Eriksson to replace the role of Lidstrom because I don't see anyone in this team right now can do as much as Lidstrom does; well Lidstrom is too good that will be also a reason but it is the truth. I know Eriksson is good but he is not certified yet whether he can play a level of NHL, not AHL. I know defenses will do fine but goalies are more problems. Our offenses are already unsaturated. Goalies, we will finally need a time to get a top goalie of the league. We know goalie in the Wings do not have to be super good as Luongo, or Brodeur. Not this season perfectly, but because our defenses are just really good so the goalies do not have to face as many shots as other goalies face. And the core of that process is Lidstrom, our captain. But Lids will retire in a time, I guess at the end of his contract or 2 more seasons from that time. That means we finally need a goalie. I don't know how Howard, Larsson, or McColoum can do for us but they are still too young. This is what our Wings GM admistraters really have to concern about. I think we can resign with Huds by 3million, I don't like giving him 4 million. Then, let's say Huds will stay here. However, if we sign both Franzen and Hossa, that means both players will end up their career in here Detroit. Even though Hossa will get old, he will be worth around 6 million. And Frazen will probably ask like between 4 and 5 million. And by this assumption of future cap, it will be almost impossible for us t get one real good defense and goalie unless goalies in the Griffins will be terrific. Then, let's say we sign both Franzen and Hossa. Then what happens to our goalies and defenses? Ok, then let's suppose we get defenses, but what about goalies? It will be very hard for us to decide but in my opinion, if we sign both Hossa and Franzen, we will be like the Flyers that we can win a game by only scoring, not very intensity. So, I am in favor of signing only Franzen. I really love Hossa's playing here in Detroit but he is worth between 6million and 7million.

Franzen hurt? Ok, I did not hate the Stars before this season but I just noticed this season that they are just cheap pieces of s***s, Ott, Ribeiro, Daley, and every team there except for Zubov should be kicked out from the NHL
