First, guys we will be fine. We know there will be a problem in this team on a goalie and defense positions but no team in the league can be perfect. But the list you show us is ridiculous. Penguins cap situation is what everyone is concerning seriously. If you put too much money on top 5 or 6 players, you will not have any secondary scoring. That's what this Wings organization has done last between 15 to 20 years. And we were the best teams in the league every season during the regular seasons. I cannot understand why you put the f***s there. They will be awful doubtlessly next season, how much do they pay for the top players and having no secondary scoring line? Let's not caring about the list you show us. The number is only number. The sports is not only one season and that is what the basic stuff every GM really always consdiers about. Some teams you listed over there like Boston and Chicago will definately lose many good players after this season and Holland has done some nice jobs so far. We can make the best line, ZDH by not putting more than 5 million on each player. Homer gets around 2million but he is very efficient player in the league. To fill out your request, we will sign Hossa and let's say he gets 7million. Then, Zetterberg gets 7.2, Datsyuk gets 6.7, Hossa gets 7, Lidstrom gets 7.45, Raffy gets 6million. The toal of those top 5 players are 34.45 million, which is bigger than all teams you list out there except for the Sharks. I don't mind we make those kind of decision but it will not be that working easily because every GM always cares about the 2nd scoring line and so far we have 3rd scoring line which other teams don't have.

Where did you guys listen that the cap will go up by 2 million? If that is true that let's see. First, I think Zetterberg is little bit overpayed. I am not feeling bad of his amount of contract but it is 12 years. As we see Lecavalier is not as good as before seasons after the long term contract, I am afraid that it will be able to happen on Zetterberg. And for injuries, I am not really concerning about that right now. No player can be perfect and Zetterberg can do everything he can for this team in the playoff. The thing now left is getting Hossa or group of Franzen, and Hudler. We still don't know how those guys will play and finish at the end of the season and the playoff. But let's say about the age. Hossa is now really good but he will be declining in sometime soon. By his playing style, playing physical cannot maintain in his playstyle after he gets like 35 years old. In my opinion, I am in favor of Huds and Franzen. The only way we can fix this problem easily is that whether we trade Filppula or expecting Hossa to take like between 5million and 6million. But I hope we wait for Filppula for next season and if he kepps making no good play then let's trade him. And I like Sammy and I don't mind we resign him but not more thant what he gets now. He is getting old right now and he will not have any impact as much as this season. And if we can bring up Helm and Leino by additional 2 million cap next year, I will do that definitely. Besides, we don't need Kopecky. And I don't think Hossa will be influenced by that as much as we think. Probably this is the time we will clean our 4th line. For goaltending, I sitll do not know. We know Conks has been better than Osgood but no one knows what will happen in the playoff and until the end of the regular season. It will not be too late if we decide to keep Conklin or bringup other goalies from other teams or Griffins.

I am not gonna be disappointed by today's game. We played pretty good in the beginning of the period to middle in the 1st period. We almost looked we would destroy Columbus. After Hank got hurt and did not come back, that was probably the time that we began to look lost and do not know what to do. First, we did not have Zetterberg,Datsyuk,and Lidstrom who are totally 3 the most important players in our team. And I don't think we played super bad except for the 2nd period but we really need to work on some defenses. And I saw some people here criticize Osgood tonight. I don't know which game those guys were watching but Ozzie was pretty good tonight. Like the 2nd goal deflection and 3rd goal, which was I don't even though what happened in front of the net, but those are not Osgood's fault. I think we will be back on our track on thursday against the Stars. Lids and Datsyuk will be back. I don't know about Zetterberg and Stuart but hopefully they will be too. Hey, and I saw the stats of Jimmy Howard during the game that how well he has been playing last 26 games. 2.40 GAA. I think it will be good if we at least give either Howard or Larsson to play on game if they are not injured or in some troubles.

I did not watch the 1st period. Is Hank hurt seriously or just a bit?

Hopefully this long ASG break helped our boys. Think Ozzie will play good and Hank and Hossa will produce lots of points. Wings take this game, I guess by 4-2, will not be an easy game because we have not played for a week and dumb Bettman suspended Pasha and Nick.

Well, let me see. If Zetterberg gets more than Datsyuk, I don't think it will be really concerned; Let's see Zetterberg gets 7.00 million. I don't mind how bad or good Zetterberg is right now compared to the last season. We know Zetterberg is not playing good, still 43 points so when he starts to spurt out, he will be really good. I don't think the reason why Zetterberg is not as powerful as last season is not all on Zetterberg's fault. Last season, he played with Pavel and produced a lot of point but not this season and we are still testing some new line changes so let's wait for how he will do until the end of the season. But what makes me so afraid is his injury prone that usually misses 8 to 9 games per season. And if we give him like 10 years contract, I am not in favor of it. By the mathtmetics, at the end of this contract, Zetterberg will be 38 years old. Hockey players prime is between 27 to 35 usually for offenses, well it might depend on which player he is but usually does. So I hope we will resign with Hank in 6.5 million for 5 or 6 years

We lost very very badly agaist the Yotes. Still I say, it is only one game and think we will bounce back. As topic says, whose fault is it on, defense or goalie?

I could not watch since the 2nd period, which was tied 3-3 at the end of the period so I don't know how the Wings played in the 3rd but as a score tells us 6-3, no excuse for this lose and I don't feel bad for this lose. As I saw the box score, in my opinion, this game shows all weak points of our Wings right now. Our special team in my view is actually in a way terrible. Our powerplay is actually beautiful that leads the league usually. But our PK is just awful. I heard from Ken Daniels that our PK is almost at the deadly last in the league on the road game, which totally contrasts to our home game PK, which is ridiculously good and the best in the league. Allowed 2 out of 6 is not really good. Conks was not a big help either. As I looked at the 2nd period, Conks was not as confident as before games. But I still think Conks is better than Ozzie this season and I don't mind we rotate our goalies again. As I mentioned before, Babs should be stopping to be stubborn about putting back ZDH line. I don't understand him because our ZDH line is one of the best line in the league and even though Hank and Dats are put in together, which will result other lines very very little bit weaker, or even get stronger, like Hossa-Cleary-Franzen like this. And as the stats show us, Hank has -4 tonight, it is no excuse about his play this season. It will affect a lot on his new re-signing contraction. I hope this all star break will give us a good recharging. Hossa, Zetterberg should and they will play better I think. Kronwall, he should play way better than this right now. Totally in slump. And heard Dats is injured, that's horrible! Wings cannot win perfectly without Pasha
