tie game again. Neither teams look good
-
epic melt down by the young Hawks
-
DAMN, sounds like it was a great overtime or at least entertaining. By the way, did the Penguins fans do some classless job on the ice?
-
Nucks is actually a garbage right now. Just rely everything on Luongo. By the way, penalty? Dan O Halloran
-
Ugh, Boudreau is bursting like a volcano
-
It hurts me a lot Cindy scored but good to see more possibility for going to the OT
-
Guys, Good news. Dan O Halloran is reffing the Hawks-Nucks game, which means he will not be ref tomorrow
-
Never mind. Gill made own goalie interference
-
I do not care who win, just go for the OT!!
-
Was there any biased officials?

Rafalski practices for the first time in 12 days
Wingsallwin replied to HockeytownRules19's topic in General
I think it will be better for Rafalski to start. Such a long day off made his play more rusty but it is better to put Rafalski and bench either Chellios or Lebda -
Ovie must be too mad again on Don Cherry by calling him 'soft euro'

Oh, thank you. I did not know about Hamilton exactly. By the way, as you guys post Hamilton is not far from the city of Toronto, do you guys think it is possible for the new team (if it happens) to make their new fans. I mean, they will surely make many fans but isn't the place around Toronto full of the Leafs fans?
-
Ugh, I think officials have been terrible this playoff, way more serious than the last season. I think the Wings got avoided from some calls but the Ducks got avoided more I think. We all saw obvious penalty like Kronwall did on Selanee but overall, Getzlaf had to get some penalties in the 3rd on Huds. The bottom line people always look to be irrational is officials cannot be perfect. For sure, it will be great if they call all non-biased calls but officals are still humans. The Wings and the Ducks, they both got some calls gets avoided from penalties and some calls ruined their games. The only game the Wings can complain for officials is when Watson and Halloran are refs

What I want to state is the type of your last statement. We know NHL is a sports organization but over that fact, it is a BUSINESS. The meaning of business is to go out to the market and gain the economic profit. However, if the Coyotes go to Hamilton, is it going to make a huge difference? I say not at all. For sure, Canadiens are insanely crazy about the sports hockey so it must be easier to catch the interest of people in Hamilton but we have seen more than a decade ago; Winnipeg and Quebec gave up to support hockey teams. It is surely up to the owner but Winnipeg and Quebec are BIGGER CITIES AND BIGGER ECONOMIC CAPACITY than Hamilton. People say to move Coyotes to Hamilton because Hamilton is only a Canadien city. It does not make sense at all. While biggers cities than Hamilton like Winnipeg and Quebec failed to save hockey teams, is it possible for the team in Hamilton to survive? Yes. But economicall? Zero Chance. Just repeat again, I may be biased in my opinion or act irrationally but I think this is what Canadien medias, especially Rogers Sports Net and TSN say. I just want to know how Americans react to this. Have a great mother's day!
-
Didn't Bettman say he would relocate any team in Las Vegas if any team tries to move to other cities because of bankruptcy?
-
I agree with you, but I want to ask everyone this: when the report of moving non-popular American teams because of whatever reasons like financial problem, attendance, revenue, and some blah blah blah.., why do most medias suggest only Canadien places to get NHL teams? Canadien cities do not have that much of financial capacity and ability. I do not know this kind of trend only occurs in Canada or same with USA, but if it is only Canadien, they are freaking illusionists.
-
I just do not get one thing: as I heard before, the Canadien teams do not create much profit except for the Leafs and the Habs. Well, first of all, I did not look at any accurate statistics of the NHL's total anual revenue chart but as we know, Canada does not have that much of capacity to accept more than 6 teams I think. Quebec Nordiques moved to Colorado, Winnipeg Jets moved to Pheonix because they could not get economic advatange from the sales of tickets, selling other products in the stadium, and sponsors from big companies. There must be some other issues around them outside what we did not catch but that is the main reason I believe. According to the one news I remember, the Devils produce the least revenue as the American teams who perform more than average. I remember it was something like million per game. For the team that makes the most, the Rangers, they made 2 millon per game. Surely, because every original material for making products is more expensive in New York than any other places in America; and, because they spent much money on getting original stuff, their net income must not be as high as they expect to be. On the other hand, I heard if we exclude the amount of revenue the Habs and the Leafs make per each game, the sum of Van, Cal, Edm, and Ott's revenue made each game is equal to the revenue the Devils make per game: million in american currency. I do not know how other people think but because NHL ONLY moves non-popular teams in America to Canada, it does not mean the NHL will gain more economic value or profit. As the economy of the world is changing every second with the higher value of American dollar than the Canadien dollar, I seriously do not think anything will be better if NHL moves teams like Atlanta, Pheonix, and some other teams in the southern America to Canadien cities. I would say it will be even worse.

I think Datsyuk played pretty well but he still has to bury some shots. He made some unbelievable shifts and dangles but he did not get any final result. It is still good to see he picked up one point and ZDH line will come up big soon.

I think he(or she) forgot where Cindy belongs to and Pronger belongs to

I gotta see the goal again on TSN at night or sooner but I think that was a goal. Cleary's feet were surely in the crease but I did not notice any trouble Cleary's feet made on Hiller's movement. If I know correctly, the interference call is made up when any of opponent's player is pushing the goalie and the goalie gets bothered to move left, right, back, or front, whatever direction. Besides, do not forget that idiot Dan O Halloran waived up like 5 or 6 Wings' obvious goals or the goal we got f***ed up in game 3 at the end. And, we could get more penalties when stupid Getzlaf showed no class on the ice with Perry.
-
I think Abdelkader could be better but he looked lost; well, it was his first playoff game if I memorize correctly. Helm has been phenomenal, one of most consistent Wings in this playoff.
-
f*** you TSN; the 3rd goal was not interference
