Apparently, he was told when he signed he was signed as a centre and not as a winger. Whether it was done on purpose or not, Ruff let this story "slip" to the media. In the "Entertainment" section of the 22/10/2011 issue of the Toronto Star, they used the following premise: William Shatner was allowed to be the Editor of that section this week. As a result, every article had something to do with Mr. Shatner and what he's doing: a new book, a new album (that's right), a whirlwind two week tour, etc, etc. I never have, nor ever will be a fan a Star Trek, but I find him to be very interesting (did you know he's 80?); someone who now seems to be out of work for very long.
