I remember listening to a pre-game show when the games were broadcast on WJR; it may have even been when Bruce Martyn was the play-by-play man. The special guest that night was Mickey Redmond. A caller phoned in and asked if there was going to be an official retiring of Mr. Aurie's Number Six. According to Redmond, plans were in the works for it to happen. I sent the article to my uncle and he remembers seeing it on display the Olympia. This also reminds me to check during by HHoF Resource Centre visit this year to see if they have it.

It would be great news to read that someone, with both the expertise and knowledge, (Bob Duff of the Windsor Star comes to mind) was writing a book on the Norris family. If done properly and truthfully, that would be a great read. -
