I saw an episode today of Border Security: Canada's Front Line (into it's second season), which airs on both the National Geographic Channel and DTour. It is truly amazing how stupid some people can be when it comes to crossing into another country. Windsor has a casino and a shiny new arena. I don't know if they demolished "The Barn"; it's where the Cougars played their first season since Detroit didn't have an arena.

It's the fifth worst record in Club history, listed with season and game differential (wins minus losses in regulation): 1990-91: -1 1993-94: 0 2003-04: 2 2012-13: 2 2013-14: 3 The "worst" start just happens to be the start of the current playoff appearance streak of twenty-two.

From TSN: I've believed that this sort of technology has been long over due. I think it would rub the referees the wrong way, especially after Uncle Gary has "pumped their tires" during the length of his administration (save for the threats of bringing in scab replacements), saying the League has the "best officials of any major sport". However, I also think that the League has been woefully slow in attempting to put properly trained on-ice officials in their games; Bettman telling telling the world about the great job his officials are doing doesn't necessarily make it so. I doubt that this "new technology" is going to appear anytime soon, but... Yay or nay?
