This is one of my favourite statements from this whole mess; from Toronto Star : Maybe a new law should be on the books, requiring all cab drivers carry multiple sets of sports cards, so they can ID there fares. Now, keep in mind that Andrew LoTempio is the lawyer representing Jan Radecki, the cab driver who was assaulted. Mr. LoTempio's Blackhawks season tickets should be arriving any day now. And, with Chicago's recent history in mailing items, they will arrive late.

To me, he's one of those "law of diminshing returns" players; for what he's given in output on the ice in recent seasons (since the end of his Vancouver contract, where he bounced from Florida to Detroit), one million would have been plenty. Calgary saw the light and gave him less than half of what Anaheim paid him ($1.95M, down from $2.0M). I just think that $1.5M is too much. I hope his hand shakes on payday from guilt.

From what I have heard, this style of jersey (with the special crest) is going to be exclusive to the 2010 Games only. I haven't heard if the same jersey, without the special crest, will be debuted at the U20 WJC.

I agree; the velcro-style closing caps seem to be made with smaller heads in mind. This style may be all they are going to be selling at the HHOF. All of their caps are made by New Era and they just love the open back design for their hockey line. Any time I've been there, I've never seen any other stlyle of cap than this on the caps made exclusively for the HHOF. -
