What does Max Talbot have in common with Brian Campbell?

Did anybody pick up Campbell as a guest analyst? -
CBC, please and thank you; they've been doing it non-stop since 1952. NBC picks up the first two games, then bails until Game 5? That is no way to promote the game in the US. Besides, another bonus: no commercials for "The Tonight Show with..."

Didn't Mr. Bowman come to Detroit from Pittsburgh for less money?
-
Yes, after that run of losing, they were considering changing the area code of Buffalo from 716 to 044.
-
Ciccarelli's last season was 1995-96. Part of his job was what Holmstrom does now: disrupting in front of the net. In his final playoffs with the DRW, he tried to get penalties called against Colorado and, instead got the penalties called against him. Mr. Bowman didn't like that and said so to the media. Dino didn't like what was said about him and said so to the media. Much like the year before, when Shawn Burr punched his own ticket for that early FLA retirement gig, Ciccarelli knew he was gone. And, thanks to that little show he gave when he was in Minnesota, he has two chances of getting into the HHOF: slim and none, with the latter being the most likely.

When I read: I was already to reply: If that's the case, then why does the League want it over so quickly? And that's a statement I still believe. Then I saw that it is about whatifsports dot com, which is actually a pretty good site; you can create matchups of great teams from different eras in all of the four major sports. I doubt that the League commissioned these guys to do this; they just it on their own. Maybe the owners are next door neighbours to Inspector Gadget.

Great article; Mr. Lynch is a true hockey icon. Thanks for sharing.
-
One thing I have noticed is that Fleury hates it when the puck is behind the goal; the entire area from the icing line to the boards. Lately, this has been a strong point for the DRW; being able to cycle down low, especially behind the goal. And I don't think Pittsburgh's defense can deal with it, the same way none of the last three teams were able to deal with it.
-
They have a confluence of three rivers.
-
I'd say there's a very good chance that Fleury will stay after the skate on Friday...to practice his entrance through the door at the Penguins bench.
