Did Uncle Gary take the video equipment out once the new owners took over the Glendale Coyotes?

From AZ Central: Just for fun, I checked his Twitter account and there has been no activity since 14/09. This seems pretty cut/dried in it's facts. I'm guessing he's "rolling the dice", hoping to get a reduced suspension from the neutral arbitrator. Does it seem like the new "system" might be worse than the old system? What I did find funny was: This might be easier said than done.

From NHL: This is laughable on so many levels.

October looks interesting with 4 games of the 13 within the division, with 2 against Boston, and 9 of the 13 against Conference teams; It's always better to get the points early on rather than be fighting for them at the end of the season. December looks interesting with 9 of the 14 games being against non-division/conference teams, 7 of them in a row. April looks interesting with 4 of the 7 games against division teams, all in a row and 6 of the 7 against conference teams. If you're looking for just a couple of extra points to improve a seeding, that can make it tougher. I see that there are 25 single home/away games; you play one game then move on. That seemed sort off high, especially with the conference move, so I did some pokin' around. Twenty-five is the most since 2006-07, with 27. The highest number all-time is 31, in 1969-70, 1973-74, 1986-87 and 1987-88, none of which was an eighty-two game schedule. One other noticeable part of this season's schedule is in January, when the Club plays 5 away games followed by 5 home games. That's only happened 2 other times in Club history: 1956-57 and 1990-91, both in the opposite order.

From CTV: I do remember that his archive was posted on the Classic Auctions website and then was quickly taken down; it looks like the League stepped in and bought it. The good people at Sportsnet have provided a sampling of some of his "magic". Much like his son, he will be remembered for his enormous skill at what he obviously enjoyed doing and for being one of the best in his field; to him it probably wasn't even work.

Former NHL enforcer and current Sabres colour commentator Rob Ray has valid opinions on the topic, all of which I am in total agreement with.

It appears I'll be buying another cap, as long as they didn't "ugly" them up as well.

Three exhibition games? Looks like protection of another "elite" player. Shanahan is in mid-season form already.

This sure helps out the television deals Uncle Gary has done, making up the lost business from the umpteen lockouts he has scheduled in the past.

One game, resulting in two upcoming hearings: Dale Weise, via phone, for an illegal check to the head of Taylor Hall and Zack Kassian, in person, for his stick follow-through on Sam Gagner, resulting in a broken jaw: Predictions, especially for Kassian?

Jhonas Enroth didn't seem too pleased by it. Assistant Coach Scott Gordon did the correct thing and asked the question on everyone's mind.
