"Dirty" hockey knows no borders. And, Donald S. is correct.

A large part of what happens will depend on the decision to be made by the 02/01/2013 deadline.

Uncle Gary + (Lockout x3) = Legacy. Sometimes, the obvious is always overlooked by those who steadfastly refuse to look at it...over and over and over and...

Timestamp of Uncle Billshut's impassioned observation article from yesterday: Timestamp the most recent cancellation announcement article from today: One step closer to "The Plan" coming to fruition.
-
From TSN: This is an excellent example of "lip service".

First game played there since 1999? Interesting,

I've thought about this for a while, but would this might be another victim of Uncle Gary's "plan"? from Toronto Star: It would take him out of a rather "sticky situation", based on his well-documented views on the topic.

The possibility of it happening most certainly does exist. This discussion took place yesterday afternoon instalment of Sportsnet's Hockey Central. Uncle Gary won't let any teams fold; it would be a stain on perfect entry in Wikipedia.

TSN's Legal Look: The NHL'S Lawsuit and What's Next. From Toronto Star's NHL lockout: What you need to know: It's a good thing the League got their money back early. Wonder why that happened? What Uncle Gary said is equally well documented, just more overlooked and forgotten by most who choose to take that path. From Sportsnet: If he didn't mean it, Uncle Gary shouldn't have said it. Then again, he knew he was going to "turn the key" on 15/09/2012.

"A Bullet for Ramona" - Warren Zevon.

As long as Detroit has Riley Sheahan in the organization, they don't need Omark.
-
Fun Fact: The "B" in "CBA" stands for "Bargaining", not "Bettman".

From TSN:

Reality seems to be a concept that Uncle Gary is having a tough time grasping. He must be using "NBC money" for all the lawyering.
-
Uncle Gary needs the judge that ruled in the Riley Sheahan case; a case of scotch should do the trick.
-
If he'd been wearing that costume in camouflage, they might have given him the key to the city of Grand Rapids. This is probably the second best thing that could have happened...this time.

Uncle Gary made TSN's "Top 10 stories of 2012": Good for him. I hope he doesn't pull a muscle patting himself on the back.

The story about one of the initial "mediators" being dumped was funny.

Owners making money, players making money and playing hockey, support staff making money and happy fans spending money. Yes, that plan had "fail" all over it.
