Fleury pursuing charges against Graham James
cusimano_brothers replied to MacK_Attack's topic in General
This deals with Mr. Fleury's latest initiative, The Victor Walk. Like too many others, he has been put through so much and has somehow found the strength to show others how to persevere. -
The sad story of Jacintha Saldanha's end is very sickening. Hopefully, justice will be served in the proper dosage.

Thank you.

Mr. Fehr wasn't around these parts for the first two of the three lockouts (so far) Uncle Gary has foisted on the League.
-
He's also found another way to keep busy.
-
There is no evidence that there would not be lockout, after lockout, after lockout with the signing of the next Collective Bargaining Agreement. He is of the firm belief that the lockout is a better tool than traditional bargaining. It's part of Uncle Gary's psyche, his "Napoleon complex" if you will. Fun fact, for those who say that Mr. Fehr is the reason for this most recent lockout: he wasn't head of the NHLPA for the first two lockouts. Put the blame at the feat of the little of person who turns the lockout key.

Uncle Gary telling Donald Fehr how to negotiate. I laugh. I haven't seen a head bob as much as Bettman's did at the podium since Muhammad Ali in his prime. Uncle Gary is a putz.
-
You know, there's something about this list...oh, I know! Rules? During negotiations? NHL? I laugh.

This explains why I couldn't find a "2013 Mayan Calendar" at calendars dot com.

What's this...state funding for a new arena and a new bridge linking Windsor and Detroit?
-
This a total crapshoot. However, before (on the off chance) he reminds everyone at his next "air-wasting podium update": this was all Uncle Gary's idea, even though he's orchestrating everything the owners are doing. He doesn't want them to tarnish his image at "labour negotiating".

Good news that shouldn't be overlooked; from Toronto Star:

By the time they hold the "ground-breaking" ceremony, the lockout should be over.

Does This Mean There Will Be No Wings WC Next Year?

I'm sure Jeremy Jacobs would have Uncle Gary's backing. -
If I was to make a "Top Ten List" of excellent reads during Uncle Gary's attempt to go "three and out", I would include today's blog from the CBC's Elliotte Friedman.

Maybe it was the "Steve Burton" from General Hospital (don't worry, I "Googled" his name). Okay, who said it?

"I Wanna Play For You" - Stanley Clarke.

If memory serves me correct Uncle Gary, one of the all-time leaders in labour negotiators, suggested this "meeting".

I sure hope Donald Fehr will be staying where he is for a long time. If so, this will cramp Uncle Gary's colon terribly.
