i seen a few devils games he is pretty good has really soft hands and a pretty good shot but i too think he will be an 80-90 point guy i do think he he can be a 40 goal guy though

Now everyone will have a different definition of what complete means but complete to me means they dont just score goals or set them up they can do other things as well i.e. fight, check, kill penalties, back-check, fore-check and etc. etc.. Crosby nor Ovie are complete ... yet ... they are young so i really think it will be a few years before we will really know remember Yzerman didnt really become a great 2 way player til he meet Bowman and it took time for both Dats and Z to find their 2 way game as well. Players who have the offensive skill that these two have dont normally come into the league with a great two way game now there are going to be exceptions but not many

I dont see D Mac cracking the lineup he might get 1 game up here put that'll be more of a thing for the fans to see him play one last time i do think we need a Roberts or Neil type guy we will probably need some grit b/c we will have a chance of seeing Cal, SJ, Ana, or Dal in the playoffs and Neil would be nice to keep guys in line, Roberts wouldnt add as much grit as neil but he'd give the wings an old guy to win the cup for kinda like drake last year

You cant really say whos gonna get paid what amount we wont know until FA time GMs that are desperate for offense will throw money at a guy like franzen Sundin something like 10m with the canucks (unless it changed) Malone overpaid Avery overpaid Penner Redden Bertuzzi last year with the ducks i can probably name a few other guys who are overpaid but the point being is if a GM views Franzen as the "missing piece" he will get an offer that is higher then he deserves

I honestly think with The Mules past history regarding extensions and the fact he has a cup he will test the market hes gonna score 30 goals this season easily maybe more ppl will throw alot his way. Add the fact Hossa has money and no Cup i see us getting hossa to go for a fair price before franzen does and we can bring Huds back barring anyone giving him a Dustin Penner offer sheet then babs could start the season with Z/D/Homer Hossa/Flip (giving him a chance to earn his 3m)/Huds Cleary/Helm/Leino (this line would be interesting to watch) Malts/Drapes/Abdelkader (cant do any worse then Tomas "I only play the body in the preseason" Kopecky) Then if Flip cant produce with top 6 minutes trade him then switch to Hossa/D/H Cleary or Leino/Z/Huds Cleary or Leino/Helm/????? Malts/Drapes/Abdel it would really depend on what we get for flip, our cap space and how our AHL guys are doing

I see Franzen leaving he'll want the big bucks since he has a cup, their will be alot of teams desperate for scoring next year like the Duckies, and the Avs (especially if Sakic retires). Id liked to keep Huds and Hossa though lets just hope Huds doesnt get a Penner type offer .... Then we could have Z/D/Homer Hossa/Flip/ Huds Cleary/Helm/Leino Maltby/Drapes/Abdelkader (he cant do much worse then kopecky can he??) To add if i was the commish the rule i would make would be "IF any player has medical proof that they are unfit to play in the All Star game they shall be excused, without proof skipping the All Star game to do an injury will result in a 1 game suspension after the All star game, unless the player in question missed the game prior to the all star game

Ok i agree its not an exception but it is timely revision of a rule that had been clearly stated at the GM meetings now obviously had bettman planned on making the rule what it is now then why not propose that rule to the GMs instead of the one he did. Hossa wont be back the only way he comes back is if by some act of god. I think he should be in you cant fault him for being on a good team. Id also like to add Cujo faltered while playing for us where was our defense that helps Ozzie out when Cujo played for us The argument of he had a good D in front of him is moot would you take anything from Brodeur b/c he played all those years behind the Devils defense

id say if i came down to us not getting 2 of our big 3 Hossa, Z and The Mule (doesnt seem likely) Cammaleri would be an interesting pick would like to see what he could do with Pasha centering for him

Id say San Jose, Detroit and Chicago are above the bruins at this point San Jose i dont really need to make a case for them we all know what they are doing Detroit starting to find their groove played well first 30 games finally seeming to get back to their style of play Chicago really flying under the radar posting very similar off and def stats to San Jose only thing that could end up hurting these guys is their youth theres alot of games to play and until Stanley is won we wont know who the best is
