Z is like any great player he changes his game based on his opposition. If a guy like pronger or chara is on the ice z isn't going to power his way by them, but if it's guys like a lebda or meech he is more likely to power through guys like that. Whereas a player like getzlaf or old school bert would just go through the other player no matter who it is.

saying z is a power forward is like saying guys like crosby and ovie are two way forwards, just because they do it sometimes doesn't make them that. And going off eva's def perry is a power forward and so is dats. Guys like dats and z are multi tool players to take jargon from baseball a five tool player essentially

id say pretty good list GMR. Iggy no. Um Oz has the credentials but it will be the voters perception of him that will keep him out, that's why Oz needs to get another cup as a starter and add a bit to his career numbers. That would make it hard for even the most biased of voter to say no.

THE only way i'd seriously consider buying a modano jersey is if he win the cup. That being said if we win the cup and Mo takes the conn smythe then it'd be hard for me not to buy a jersey but i doubt it would even happen.

GMR you're rigt we didnt deserve to win cuz we didnt overcome the adversity but i do see what Crymson is saying even with all the 5-3 pps and other bounces and calls Sharks got they only won each game by 1 goal so the series wasnt as lopsided as it seems and had the wings played even slightly better i think we could have at least gone to 6 or 7 games. BUT if the wings were as great as some ppl say we wouldnt have lost

Dats and Z had off years cuz of all the injuries. Dats and Z are still good for a 1 ppg. I dont see either breaking 90 but they should be good for 75-85 pts. Hudler could hit 70 but alot would have to go right. Franzen/Dats/Homer Bert/Z/Hudler Cleary/Flip/Eaves Miller/Helm/Draper Ritola Abby is NHL ready but id rather keep miller and let abby continue to develop in the AHL. Abby would be the first to get called up if someone gets hurt and i dont see Homer or Draper playing past this next season at least not with the wings. So that would open a spot for him next year for sure. Some of our PKers are getting old and it would be nice to have Miller to make it easier on guys like Dats, Z and Cleary. Plus Miller showed he has some offense upside. I think Homer will return along with Nick. Bert is the one im not sure about. If bert leaves Franzen/Dats/Homer Flip/Z/Hudler Cleary/Abby/Eaves or Miller Draper/Helm/Eaves or Miller

wings blew this game plain and simple but i dont see how ppl cant understand why we're upset with the way the games are being called thru 3 games the PPs are 22 for the sharks 11 for the wings (and 5 of those came in GM 1). The disparity is what raises my eyebrow not the calls on an individual basis. If the refs want to call the ticky tack stuff then they need to do it both ways. Its kinda hard to dictate the game when your on the PK so much as it was with game 2. Lets look at it game by game, game 1 6-5 PPs sharks, game 2 10-4 Sharks, game 3 6-2 sharks. What really bugs me is that the refs are notorious for evening up the PPs but all of a sudden they dont do that anymore. whys that? Is it a conspiracy, i dont think so but you never no it is within the realm of possibilities look at the NBA with Doughny (sp?) and the games they supposedly helped a certain team. When your afraid to crash the net b/c Nabby will dive or you dont steal the puck b/c you afraid of getting called for a hook those things change the game. right now the sharks are looking at as hey we can pretty much play how we want we arnt getting called where as the wings are probably treading alot more carefully so to speak. and even if the sharks do advance which you nvr know it is the sharks were talking about, you think they can handle the O of the Hawks or Nucks NO Nabby will get lit up like the night on 4 of July plus they've only won each game by 1 goal and thats with all the PP time they are getting. The calls wont keep going the sharks way eventually theyll be on the short end of the stick and all the shark fans will be saying what we're saying now. In the end the wings should win no matter what happens, but it doesnt help to have asshats for refs that for certain

in the end homer really is a one trick pony but it is one damn good trick and he doesnt better then the rest Guys like Cpt Canada (Smyth), Dino, the Mule and the others mention all have a better all around game and can consistently score goals in other ways.

I want SJ not Phx like Titanium said the Yotes are exatcly the type of team that gives us trouble and unlike CBJ last year their goalie isnt a rookie. Id take the Yotes in a later round though when theres more pressure
