i see a trend then throughout most of last years playoffs hossa played well except in game 4's as it seems from the stats you found Never now he doesnt do much except for game 4s hmmmm i think he gets 4 goals tomorrow

i like how penguins fan blame Hossa for the whole lack of signing FA and losing malone but i think Shero should get some blame as well cuz he was putting all his eggs into one basket

I got my new SI mag in and it had a Best Player in the NHL poll as voted by 324 players (looked on the website cant find it so so sorry no link) Players couldnt vote for teammates A.O 51% Lids 11 Malkin 7 Dats 7 Iginla 5 Zetter 5 Crosby and Brodeur finished 8th with 1.9 % each I find it kinda funny that Crosby finished with so little votes

i think JR just talks to hear the sound of his own voice i will admit some of his interviews are pretty funny

granted ozzie may have yet to steal a game by some people's standards but he sure has stolen periods many times so far this postseason and yea the guys up from have bailed him out but hes bailed them out as well it goes both ways in the end

i think Babs should try Leino for one game see if that can jump start dats or hossa if not switch him back out if so then we get more scoring which isnt bad

Jake Ryan must be a goalie because of the hate he has for Homer and talking about bringing Turco to detroit. i live in so cal i run into duck fans evrywhere and after their ONE cup ppl here act like they are the greatest franchise in hockey history And me and a friend who is a wings fan as well have been threatened at duck games before for no reason just walking down the street thats why i go to Kings-Wings games cuz King fans are great they will give you a good ribbing and thats it

If it makes you feel i hip checked a ducks fan while playing a pick up game at the sports court rink the ducks own in Corona I didnt know him either and he was 200+ lbs needless to say he and his friends were a bit suprised

My problem is the inconsistency of the whistle blowing ive seen refs wait forever to blow a whistle and then ive seen them blow it right away Hossa with a trick in game four. Wings win 5-0

id say at least one game would be fair because Hudler should have been more aware of what was going on we are playing the ducks after all and we and the players know the ducks like to hit ppl so Hudler should have been more careful I do agree had it been Crosby sadly he would have been severely punished i do also agree that just b/c a player comes back shouldnt lessen the forthcoming suspension The timing of the hit is borderline, was he trying to hurt hudler i dont think so. Should Brown had been more careful yes. What i think did brown in was the blood i think at some point Browns stick may have caught Huds accidentally and i think that may have been what the ref that was standing on the blue right by them may have seen was the stick coming up under Huds visor and cutting him Also Brashears hit was worse he went out if his way to hit Betts

i think the wings are tough enough without a "goon" and having a one wouldnt allow Babs to roll 4 lines like he does and on a another note sometimes picking/winning a fight doesnt go your way see Carcillo vs Talbot. Carcillo whooped Talbot but the Pens got the momentum and with the proposed rule against staged fights that will lessen the roles of enforcers

Who cares But to make a point while Z is damn good defensively and his 5 on 3 PK is epic in its own right to base your argument on that sole fact alone is stupid Last years Super Bowl that Tyree guy had that amazing catch but does that automatically make him the Giants best WR When Derrick Fisher hit that shot for the lakers in the PO's with .8 secs left to win a game did that make him better then Kobe No it didnt Im sure i could name several more but i wont the simple fact is during the Playoffs someone almost always steps up last year it was Z, this year who knows Dats is having a great season without Z, Z having a good season without Dats plain and simple. Dats has the ability to make anyone he plays with good. So does Z but to a lesser extent So heres food for thought if Rafls has an epic moment like Zs 5 on 3 PK does that make Ralfs better then Lids? And did i mention we have both?
