This is only Jimmy's second full season in the NHL and I think by far he has been one of our best players. Let the nay-sayers say what they want and beleive what they want but Jimmy is the real deal and a great goalie!!

On game day I always dress myself right side first. My right side I feel is my weaker side so on game days everything is done to the right first, socks, shoes, pants and shirt. I always wear my home Wings jersey as well as my hat and I'm always holding a Detroit Red Wings Towel of some sorts either a playoff towel or a golf towel I got at Training Camp a few years ago. I have to bring out my Rally Al stuffed octipus and he has to be sitting on my tray and he has to be faced watching the game. I have to wear some article of clothing of the Detroit Red Wings for day of game. I do have a playoff beard and I also pray for the team.

I like that he shows a pic of Kid Rock and Eminem, Those are two of my favorite singers. I love Rap music and this is fan-tas-tic!!

Best of luck to him in Jokerit, possibly one day we see him in a Wings Jersey playing with his brother for at least one game.

I signed it, I hope he stays another year. I want to see some of our younger Defensemen up in Detroit but I'm not ready to see Liddy retire. I think he still has some great hockey left in him for at least one more season. I just don't want this to turn into another Chelly thing where he didn't retire when he should have but I don't think that will happen. I think Lidstrom stays one more season and than is done but I don't know I guess we'll just have to wait and see.

Normally I would be going for an Original Six team here but I'm a big fan of the Lightning for many reasons so I have to say Go Bolts!!

They also had a 2 game lead in the 09 Cup Finals and ended up losing in 7 games at home. I support this team and believe in this team but after game 4 I really have to be realistic and think that the Wings are done tonight. I hope I'm wrong but they can't blow 3 goal leads no matter what period.

What makes anyone think that the Wings are going to Win this series???????????? Listen I LOVE the Wings absolutely love them and I did believe they could win this series until I saw Game 4, the Wings blew a 3 goal lead. I'm not trying to discredit the Sharks but a winning Wings team does not do that. I think it's going to be just like last season and they are out tonight. I'm not giving up hope and faith in my team but the last game in my opnion was disgusting. The only game it looked liked the Wings were playing hard was Game 1 I mean that's just my opnion. This team will have to gride like they haven't grinded in a long time to win this series. I hope I will eat these words but I don't think I will.

Can they win this series Yes, will they probably not. I've seen this team do some amazing stuff in my years of being a fan I believe in my team and I love the Wings It would be very hard and it would mean a total total team effort and they CANNOT play they way I've seen them play this season. If they can do what they did last year in game 4 and do it for 4 strait games than San Jose has no chance but since I don't think the Wings will be able to do all that they won't win. It's not over yet.

I wouldn't mind seein Mo play a Playoff game with us. Maybe tonight. Go Wings!!

I think for the past few seasons and playoffs have been over officiated. I really hope the League can do something about this and takes care of it this off season. They need to just let the players play. I'm not saying let things get out of hand or anything but I've seen a lot of penalties that from my view point shouldn't have been called for all the teams not just Detroit. Let the players play.

If I'm not mistaken Babsy has said a couple times this season that he likes Abs and what he is doing. Yeah I agree he isn't providing much in the playoffs right now but it seems to me that Dats is the only one that has really contribued anything BIG for this team. Not to hang the rest of the guys out but I haven't been impressed with anything so far in this series by any of our players. I say give him so more time.

Isn't this his first FULL season with the Wings. Give the guy a break let him learn and get better and after a season or two if he's still doing these things than I'm sure the Wings will handle it. I love it when a player does a couple things wrong in a recent stint just like Abs and his High Sticking. You heard the annoucers even they didn't think it was his fault. Let the young players all have some more time in the NHL before you get out the hanging rope.

I just though this might be fun and maybe lighten the mood of these boards and allow us not to think or worry about the Playoffs. I've noticed a lot of you have some prett cool and unique Red Wings logos on here either stuff you've created or seen on the internet. I'm looking to see what's out there so anyone who wants to please post a pic of the Red Wings Logo it doesn't even have to be a Logo pic just something that is Detroit Red Wings that you like or think is unique and not of the ordinary. I really don't think it's a coaching issue. Sure Babsy could change lines and maybe he will now but to me it looked like the Wings weren't even that impressive today. I liked Game 1's effort alot more than Game 2's. I go back to the old saying that the coach can coach all he wants but he can't lace up skates and play with the team, that's up to the players. I didn't see the same Wings that played the First round but I saw a team that looked like a regular season game where the Wings get behind and stay behind until abut the 3rd period and than they decide to wake up and play the game. A line-up change may be in order but I don't think it's the reason the Wings are down in this series. The Big Guns for Detroit need to start getting hot and after that I think the rest of the team will follow suit and that's how you win games and series in the playoffs is getting all players in on the offense getting the 3rd and 4th lines scoring is crucial but I think Dats, Z-Max and the Mule are going to need to creat some magic. Wings aren't out of this yet so let's not panic.

I was watching it, I didn't mean for it to sound like I wanted people to stop watching the game and reply to this thread I just meant when ya have time let's have a some fun with this. I've seen a lot of cool logos on here and was just wondering what all is out there.

A playoff game that the Wings have lost and are now down 2-0 in the Series. I was just looking to post a fun topic since as I've said in a previous post on here I dread the playoff so I just wanna have a little fun what's the big deal>>

I don't think there really was much rust in my opnion, I thought the Wings played very well even in th OT before the Abs Penalty they looked real hungry and I thought they were going to maybe get another one in the net. The PK looked very strong it was just that one shot and it hit off of Stuart's stick and went it. It was just a lucky shot I think. I know this is horrible of me to say being I'm such a huge Wings fan, but I really didn't and still don't have high expectations for this series. I'm not saying I don't think the Wings can win it but I guess I'm just more fearful that we are going to see that Wings team that blew leads and got behind early and can't catch up and I don't know if this is true but I don't think the League will help the Wings at all they may even help the Wings get knocked out. I know it's bad to acuse the NHL of trying to stage the games and the Stanley Cup winner but I've seen to much over the past few years that just raises my eyebrows about the types of penalties that the Wings have got lately. But I think the Wings played very well in Game 1 and I look for an even better Game 2 for the Wings.

Tampa Bay Lightning for sure and not just becasue of Steve Yzerman but I'm been a fan of the Lightning for a while. I have the 04 Championship DVD and the 04 Championship Replica Ring so if our team doesn't win it I'm rooting for Tampa Bay!!
