I hope they can figure out if they can do anything and get him some type of treatmet. I wonder what strategy Detroit has in case Lils cannot come back. I know they've covered it very well calling up Big E but what about next season. His injury doesn't count against our cap does it? I hope he can start feeling better soon and can get back on the ice and be a great defenseman for us soon; hopefully next season.

It's not Cheesy at all, that's the sign of a good hockey fan. It's going to be tough to think about who we may lose becasue this is a sport and we can't keep everyone together every year. This team has been great the past seasons and I do wish the best of luck to whomever we do part ways with. I don't know who we are going to lose but they have all been great at times and I just hope the players that are going can end this season and possibly their careers as Red Wings on a happy note. I will say though that this off season will be one of the most interesting and exciting off-seasons the Wings have had in a bit. Hopefully the Wings will make the right moves and keep the right players to continue to be a successful hockey team for years to come.

I got mine at the 07 Training Camp in Traverse City but I've seen them at the Joe. Mine is on my shelf right now but every palyoff game he sits out on his table with me and watches the game with me. I just have the little one I want to get one of the bigger ones but the little one will do for now until I can get back to the Joe or maybe they'll have them at Camp again. Go Wings!!!!

I would love to not watch the game but everytime I don't they lose. When I watch the entire game in this series the Wings are 3-1. So I have to watch it. I tried not watching at least the 1st period of Game 6 because last year that's what I did and it payed off but this year I watched most of it and it didn't work. I don't want to watch it but I will.

Well I won't be having a late Birthday Party on Saturday if the Pens do win. I plan on crying a lot and staying in bed for as long as I possibly can.

I think his physical play has been ok in this finals series but he really hasn't contributed much offensively in this series, for someone who wants the Cup so bad he hasn't shown it much. I know that he has been well covered but he was our leading goal scorer in the Regular Season and he's fallen off a bit here in the playoffs. If the Wings are going to win Game 7 he and other players are going to need to bury the puck.

I'm not sure if this has already been posted but if it hasn't I just thought it would be interesting to note that Nicklas and younger brother Staffan Kronwall are both going for their respective leagues Championships. Staffan Kronwall is a Defenseman for the Hersey Bears that are going for the AHL Calder Cup Championship against the Maitoba Moose. As we all know Nicklas Kronwall is going for the NHL Stanley Cup Championship against the Pittsburgh Penguins. Just thought that was kinda neat that brothers are going for the Championships the same season in different Leagues. Hershey leads the series 3-2 and Pittsburgh and Detroit are tied 3-3. Best of luck to both Kronwalls this season!!!! I sure would love to see that Celebration if they both Won.

I'm gonna go with about 82% Chance. We are a great home team and I think the team will feed off the crowd and vice versa. The biggest thing that scares me is Game 5 after we did that to the Pens they probably learned a hard lesson. It worries me that the Pens will be able to play much better in Detroit. I don't think the Wings will want to let the fans down but at the same time Pens want to win the Cup in Detroit like the Wings won it last year in Pittsburgh. It's going to be a tight game again. I'm hoping for another Penguins fall apart and a complete Domination game by the Wings again but I just don't think that is going to happen. One thing I will say to the fans that will be in attendance for Game 7 don't get down at all even if the Wings don't score first keep up the chantting and leave it all at the rink remember this is it, this is the last game of the season no matter what so fans just keep your hopes up your spirits high. I believe in the Wings and I know you all do to. We can take this Cup again. Let's Go Detroit Red Wings!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Let me put this in my own words here. If someone said to me that they could grant me this wish and gave me the option of the Detroit Red Wings winning the Stanley Cup in Pittsburgh in Game 6 but it would go into 4 OT's and the Wings would Win 4-3 OR Wings Win Game 7 by the score of 10-0 I would take the Game 6 Victory in 4 OT's and deal with beeing emotionally drained and my heart beating out of my chest and missing an extra 4 or 5 hours of quality sleep I would take The Game 6 Victory simply because I just want this to be over. Let's Go Detroit Red Wings!!!!

Exactly what I was thinking. I said to my family when we were watching the game that is it just me or did Bettman look like he was gonna cry. Makes me worry about what may happen in Pittsburgh in Game 6; he's probably got his two favorite officals on speed dial saying "Detroit get's no power plays in Game 6 and make sure th Pens get about 8. Wouldn't suprise me if Crosby was Bettman's bastard son.

That would be all I want.

I gotta say I agree with ya there. Hossa can't seem to buy a goal in this series so I think he will be a huge part of whatever happens on Tuesday. I just hope it's for the Good of The Detroit Red Wings!!!!

After reading the ESPN, Bettman being the happiest man and how Bettman needs the Stanley Cup Finals to go 5 or 6 games and wanting the Pens to Win Thread. I have offically Banned any Sidney Crosby Merchandise from my house or purchasing any Merchandise or Hockey Equipment tht has Sidney Crosby or the name Sidney Crosby on it or even his Jersey Number. I have one Reebok Stick that says Crosby and has his Jersey Number on it and before I even read this thread I had already took Whiteout and went all over everything that said Crosby on it. I want to buy a pair of Reebok Gloves but as long as they have Sidney Crosby or 87 on it I will not purchase them or anything. I look for support from my fellow borders in doing the same.

Yeah, I'm sure he still gets some mony for that stick but hey at least I don't have to look at his name or number when I play. I think I'll just stick with playing goalie at least than I won't have to worry about Crosby Goale Equipment but than again give it 5 or 10 years and Bettman will him at every postion and on every bit of NHL Merchandise. Still waiting for the street hockey puck or ball with is face on it. I really want to practice my slap shot on that one.
