That is a great article and I agree with Messier the Pens have a Cup coming soon; Hopefully not this year but sometime soon. I said that last year to the people I talked to. Pittsburgh is a good quality team and have all the tools to Win a Championship and I'm just hoping they will flop this season to maybe get it the next season or I'd say within 5 years the Pens will have at least one Cup as much as I'm hoping it doesn't happen this time around it very well might happen. I just hope the Wings can hang on and take 2 more games in this series. It's not going to be easy by any means but if the Detroit Red Wings can win again I'd say they are definetly a Dynasty team. I love the Red Wings and I believe that they can win the Cup this season I'm just hoping that luck will be on their side and they can hang on and work hard for just a few more games and become Back 2 Back Champions again.

We all knew going into Game 3 that the calls were defintely going to favor the Pittsburgh Penguins and as much as I hate going back to this (man I wish I never would have heard this on the radio). The theory that the NHL is trying to help the Pens in anyway possible to get the Cup from Detroit this time around. What happened in Game 3 was outrageous. If you are going to tighten up on making calls than call everything that is why you have two refs on the ice now-a-days if you're not going to call stuff than don't call anything. The 6 men on the ice that the Refs may or may not have seen which if what someone said on here is try that one of the refs were telling one of th Pens to get off the ice than that should have been called. We went up 2-1 in the first and of course we get a penalty which we all know the Wings can and are guilty of taking penalties and a lot of times they can be stupid penalties some of those thing should not have been called or the cross check that Franzen took and the haul down that another Wing took (can't remember who) all things that should have been called if your are going to call something like that on Ericsson. There better not be cheating going on and this thing that's going around better not be true or I will be writing a ton of letters to the NHL as soon as I can find the NHL's main office Address. I've wrote some E-mails but haven't got any responses from. I'll do whatever I can as a fan to make what I can right. I'm going to wait and see how Game 4 goes tonight but if the NHL means Zero Tolerance than it should be Zero Tolerance for everyone and Malkin should have been suspended in Game 3.

IMO it sounds like a good trade off to take Abbs out to put Drapes in and take Leino out to put Pavs in. I like Draper's and Datsyuk's grit and plus if he can come back and get on the scoreboard that would be huge. For me it goes back to the Conspiracy Theory that the League is trying to help the Penguins get the Cup this season. I've already seen posts on another board that some fans are just waiting for the league to tie this series up and swing it in favor of the Pens. Man I'd love to see Lilja back out there and playing. I think he would do a tremendous job if he was healthy. That's jus something you can't really fool around with is your health and I know it's gotta be killing him to just watch but I'd rather see him back next season than see him play in this finals series and have a career ending injury. I know exactly what you mean, while I don't have a sore throat or anything my stomach is in nots and I can barley eat anything. I hope this will be all for nothing and the Detroit Red Wings will win soon so I can feel better. This makes me very sad. I'm a Muskegon fan but have been to Kalamazoo for a game. I'm going to miss the rivalry between Kalamazoo and Muskegon. I wish them the best of luck and hope everything works out for them. Personally I'd love to see the IHL fold; it has been a bad league since it's return and only have 6 teams in the league for the first two seasons didn't make it any better. Maybe Kalamazoo will become a junior league team, I'd even come to K-Zoo again to see some Junior Hockey.

I really wish I could be as confident as you two. I do believe in the Red Wings and I know that they Can Win this Cup again I just don't know if they will. I was listening to my local sports radio station on Thursday as I was driving and they were talking about this series and breaking it down and fans were calling in with comments and stuff and I hear that the Conspricay Theory is that the NHL is going to help the Pens get the Cup this season becasue Crosby is the Face of the league and all and I guess I've let that kind of stuff get to me. As much as I try to stay focused and only worry about what is happeing I tend to think about thigs not only the future but of a possible future either way and I get nervous than I get really happy and then the reality sits in that this series is probably far from over. I personally want the Wings to Sweep the Pens and not give them any life in this series and I know that's not going to happen; I mean I don't know for sure but I know the Penguins are a good team and I fear their hunger for the Cup this season after last season and it scares me. I've always said I'm a confident but not cocky guy and I am Confident that the Detroit Red Wings Can Win the Stanley Cup but I'm not ready to start plannying a party yet or anything. It makes me mad to think about something like the League picking favorite Teams and Players when it's the League they should be happy for whoever wins and not try to give them the edge in a game or seires just the help them profit. I hope that is not what is going on and I hope I'm just being ridiculous. Having back to back Champs hasn't happened for 11 years and the last team to do it was indeed the Detroit Red Wings as we all know and to have it happen again would just make me so happy I can't even expalin right now. I will say and I'm not ashamed to say this but last year when Detroit Won The Cup I cried tears of joy and relief for about 20 minutes or more becasue all that pressure that I put on myself even though I can't do anything about what happens no matter what I still put that pressure on myself. Being this close I want to taste it one more time and I want it for Hossa and I want it for all the younger kids that have stepped up and played so well in theses playoffs. It kills me to not know what is going to happen and it kills me to not be able to have power over this and at times it's very unbareable and other times I think not matter what it's not going to be the end of the world and there will be a next year, I just want it agan this year and then I feel like I'd be able to let it go for a while. Sorry for going on and on but I'm still so very nervous but I have my hopes and confidence in this Detroit Red Wings team. Let's Go Detroit Red Wings!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
