It sucks that he has such a special season and nets 60 Goals and the team goes from Conference Finals one year to not making the playoffs the next. Hopefully he can do it again next seaso nand the Bolts can get back into playoff contention. Nice Work Stamer!!

I really like Paul Maclean as I've followed him since he was the head coach of the Quad City Mallards in the United Hockey League in the early 2000's. However I'm not a Canadian Team fan at all so I'm gonna hope the Rangers can win and do believe they'll win in 5 maybe even 6. Would be nice to see the Rangers take the Cup if the Wings can't becasue that would mean that in the past 5 years there will be 4 of the Original 6 Teams Winning The Cup and all of them American Based Original 6 Teams as Toronto and Montreal are still struggling. Go Rangers!!

Hopefully this will be a nice little spark for the Wings going into the playoffs. Hopefully he can be a positive factor for the Wings and help them get past Nashville!!

Go Panthers!! This series is one of the most interesting series to me in the East and while I think the Devs will win in 6 I'm gonna hope the Panthers can pull it off in 7!!

Go Bruins!! Hopefully Bruins in 5 but I could see the Caps stretching it to 6 depending on how they play.

One good thing I think the Wings can take into this series is that they've never lost a playoff series to the Preds, If I'm correct. The Preds have a great team this season and the Wings have been very inconsistent, if both teams play to their full potential than it should be a great series and I'll go out on a limb and say Wings in 7 if we see the Wings that we've seen recently than Preds in 5 or maybe even 4. I know most of you are thrilled as hell to have the playoffs here but for me this is the time I start suffering depression. My season just got over today and the start of the NHL Playoffs means the end of the NHL and most Hockey seasons very soon, regardless of who wins the Cup. Granted if the Wings Win The Cup it makes the summer a little bit easier to get through but I live for September to December 25th at Midnight. So best of luck to all the teams going into the playoffs and hopefully the Wings can shock the hell out of me and most everyone in the league and take it all but only if they play their absolute best hockey. Go Detroit Red Wings!!!!

To me if it came down to playing the Preds or the Yotes in the 1st round. I'd probably rather play the Yotes even though we've played them the past two seasons in the 1st round than got knocked out in the 2nd round. Preds are a much better team than the Yotes and while the Yotes have improved alot this season I think we could still take them if the Wings work hard enoough.

Alot is going to depend on what Liddy does but I too hope that the Wings can get Parsie and Weber this Off-Season!!

Larionov's 3rd OT Goal in Game 3 was it for me. Staying up to see it and feeling so sick during the entire game doo to constant worring it was such a huge releif to see that goal go in. Made for a real good night's sleep knowing that the Wings now had the lead in the series!!

I can't wait for to see this series, it is going to be great. I'm hoping the Flyers will win but I think the Pens will. Either way it should be a great series!!

Wings are definetly playing better. I'm not sure if they are back at 100% yet. They did win a couple of really good games but I'm still concerned with our special teams especially our Power Play. Going 0 for 4 and the 4th one being a 5 Minute Power Play that we gave up a Short-Handed Goal on just scares me. Both games were won in a Shootout and that's not gonna happen in the Playoffs. Hopefully our team can get these issues resolved ASAP and be a better team in the Playoffs. Having Home Ice should help and hopefully the Wings will have it but they do still need to play a bit better going into the playoffs.

Great Goals by the Mule and a Great Effort by the entire team. It seemed like that Blues 2nd goal really lit a fire under the Wings and that's what they need moving forward into the playouffs. Nice Work Wings!!

Change it. Why a team in one division has more points than a team in another but that other team his higher seeded just becasue they are leading their divison is stupid. Congrats to Divisonal Champs and all but the team with the most points SHOULD be the higher seed. If it means getting rid of the divisons than so be it. The way the league was supposed to be structured for next season until the NHLPA said no was going to be better anyways. I say get rid of the divisons and let the points be the deciding factor.

The Blues definetly have a great chance to beat the Wings this season in the playoffs if the two teams meet. St. Louis has come a long way since the Wings Vs Blues last visit in the Playoffs which I believe was 02. Teams are really building through the draft these days and the Blues have been a big part of it and that's one of the keys to success at least IMO. Both teams are very strong teams if they play up to their full potential and give 100% and it would be a good series but in the end the Blues seem to have a bit stronger team this season and would probably go further. So Little Brother has steped up since the teams last met and become somewhat of a big brother now. I really could see the Blues and Rangers in the Stanley Cup Finals this season, not saying I think that's what's gonna happen but I wouldn't be suprised if it did.

If Holmsy want's to come back again I'm sure he will. I can't see Holland not letting him back on the team based on how Holland feels about the players that have been on the team for so long. He's still capable of reeking havoc in front of the net so that's something that would keep him on this team. He's still effective and has some really good hockey smarts and would be a good veteran leader to help show some of the younger guys what to do and how to be physical in front of the net. He'd be a good guy to keep if the right deal can be worked out.

Luke Schenn is a good young player and would do really well on this team, not sure I'd like what we'd have to give up for him but if it helped make us a better team and get us one step closer to winning another Stanley Cup Championship I'd be on board!!

Havig Parise on this team would be AWESOME!!!! His ability and skill with putting the puck in the net would be a huge help to this team, not that this team doesn't have some big guns but having one more wouldn't hurt. Hopefully the Wings can get him for next season and the Wings can really have a great shot at winning another Cup!!

At this point I'd have to say that just making the playoffs is a success. As I've stated before I really didn't have High Expectations for this season's team based on their off-season signings. Also given their inconsistency this season and their lack of success on the Power Play I'd have to say just making the playoffs is a success for this season.

I just loved the look on Crosby's face after Scheen Cross Checked him. He was like "What The Hell Just Happened." LOL Classic!!

I forgot to mention in my previous post that I traded Dan Cleary on NHL 12 for PS3 to Carolina for a 5th Round Draft Pick in the Coming Draft. Not sure that's a possible option but I did it in my game and I just wanted to share.

I would hope the Wings but based on the two teams this season I'd have to give the edge to the Blues in a series between each other.

Not sure how far either team would go or will go into the playoffs but if these two teams were to meet in the playoffs this season I'd still have to give the edge to Detroit and say they'd win in 7. It would defiently be a good series but I think if the Wings played like the Wings and stayed healthy theyd beat the Nucks!!
