I love how people compare pre-cap teams to post cap teams as if there is any relevance. Let's just throw out the fact that this team is two seasons removed from a Cup and one season removed from a Cup appearance. The dynamic has changed. This is now a cap compliant team. It shows. Enjoy it.

Osgood is old Doc. It's not unrealistic to be convinced that he's done. I'd be right on board with you if Osgood was in his prime. Not only has he not shown any sign of world class caliber goaltending this season, he's shown bitterness and/or frustration when addressing the media. You can't expect everyone to just blindly have faith in him. -

It's getting stupid now. He blatantly pulled his hand off the stick in order to make contact with the puck. He was rewarded with a goal because he was too slow to effectively batt the puck before it got to his hand. NHL officiating is in the toilet big time.

It's just nice to have a goalie that doesn't make me cringe on every shot. I might cringe on a rebound or five, but at least I'm not cringing on the initial shot... which is a step in the right direction. -

I'm still not clear on how any of this has any bearing on my opinion that Osgood looks bad and weak in net. I can't help it if my opinion of Osgood doesn't count as substance in your opinion. And I can't help it that Babcock also happens to think that Howard gives the team the best chance to win. I agree with his quote... regardless of how you intend to spin it. -

Doc... I'd rather watch paint dry. Amusing you with pointless arguments is not a high priority (your petty attacks on typos pretty much sum up what you are about). I've already stated in my previous post that your opinion means nothing to me. Why waste your time? Babcock has already been quoted: "If we need a win tomorrow... Howard is in net" Good enough for me. -
Glad to hear Babcock also confirm that Osgood is mentoring Howard properly. I couldn't imagine Osgood doing otherwise, but its nice to hear.

I come to my own conclusions based on what I see and hear. Weather or not you agree is irrelevant. Doesn't mean I don't think Osgood looks like s*** every time he plays. Again... your agreement is irrelevant. Zetterberg hasn't whined to the press. And that's just one tiny fragment of an utterly failed comparison. Try again.
