Interesting comment about how the team played better with a depleted line-up.

As much as Osgood deserves appreciation for past accomplishments from the fans, the fans deserve appreciation from Osgood for helping to pay his salary on a team that has been built to win for a long time. Osgood owes it to his boss, his coach, his team and his fans to play with intensity every time he steps onto the ice. Not just in the playoffs. The guy sleepwalks through regular seasons like he is entitled to something. While that may not be entirely true. It sure does look like it. People act like we owe him something. Wtf? From where I'm sitting, Osgood is the unappreciative one.

Ozzy looks like s*** everytime he starts. He's slow going from side to side, he fights every shot, he plays too deep in the net, he goes down too fast. The rest of the team looks bad, obviously, but it doesn't mean that Ozzy gets a free pass from looking less than mediocre. No idea why anyone would be offended by suggesting that Osgood needs some time in Grand Rapids. It's no worse than Kenny giving him 'time off' last season when he was sucking. I guess going down to GR to get some real conditioning is somehow worse than him sitting in his living room for 10 days last season watching his team play. Osgood looks like total s*** in net. Blame Babcock, blame the defense, blame the refs, blame the goal posts, blah, blah, blah... whatever. He still looks awful and lets in VERY untimely goals whenever he is in.

His job is to be a back-up. There are back-ups all over the league that have to come in and play rusty. No excuse for Osgood.

Autographs don't really interest me. The Dave Lewis comparison is valid because Dave Lewis was nice and friendly with the players. As opposed to real coaches, Like Babcock and Bowman. Lewis failed. Babcock succeeds. And where did I say that you said that he was better than Howard? Where in your warped view did I say you said that? (two can play that game)

Comparing a 6th defender and a 4th line forward to the goalie. Can you see what an awful comparison this is? Of course he is. He's a coach. See Dave Lewis... Pretty lame to accuse someone of not respecting what Osgood has done based on nothing more than his love not equaling yours. Why don't you share with us how past accolades equal points right now. Ozzie can lean on his past accolades when he's trying to score a free meal at Denny's in 25 years. Right now, they mean squat.

Osgood played well? This is where you are delusional. 86% save percentage is poor. Even in the span of a single game. The goals he allows are almost always of the untimely variety. Go ahead and blame defensive breakdowns but that is why the goalie is there. He looks bad, and right now he doesn't have the determination to overcome his rustiness. Ozzie has bitched and not answered the bell when given a chance. He's failing. Blame Babcock. Lol.

All I know is that if we manage to make the playoffs, its gonna be one snarly bunch heading in.

When you repeatedly say stupid things to the press, you deserve whats coming to you. Ozzie is making himself an individual. He has no one to blame for any backlash but himself.
