Of course they pay attention, they're human. They would almost have to be sequestered to not hear of the comments. There's no reason to believe that a handful them aren't lurking the message boards in their spare time. I guarantee you someone in their posse is. NHL.com

It wasn't just this game. I've been watching him this series and he gets really dirty when things aren't going his way. Hell, he started throwing punches at Zetterberg before he even dropped his stick. I never said he was a horrible player, I just said that I'm glad he's on your team and not the Wings. He comes off as a classless punk. That's all.

Like one of the announcers said. With Datsyuk on the ice, you have basically doubled your puck possession time. Even without explosive speed, his puck possession and passing make him lethal enough. Great to see him in again.

I think holding Datsyuk back this long is gonnna prove to be a wise move. I expect a nearly healthy Datsyuk when he comes back. That's gonna be like a nuclear missile into the Pens game plan. I think that Babcock and co. are holding out till the last possible moment to bring Datsyuk back.

I love hearing a Pens fan call Staal an elite player. You should have read their boards during the regular season. They wanted to run him out on a rail. -
Even just the fact that's it alleged is pretty interesting considering its hard to pry anything more that "We need to cut down our turnovers" or "They're a great team, we have to play 60 minutes". The Red Wing players are walking cliche's in the playoffs and rightfully so. To hear Mickey mention it takes it a little closer to reality, imo.

And to go a step further... nothing frustrates us more as Wing fans than to see the Wings stoop down and play to the level of a lesser opponent. Fans are no different, I prefer not to stoop down to Pens fans level. But that's just me.

Sure am. Difference is I'm not watching the game looking for every little penalty that 'should have been' called. Half of this thread is complaints about the officiating. It's embarrassing.

Good God... If I wanted to read a bunch of whiners complain about officiating, I could just go over to the Pens board. Apparently there is no escape. Everyone wants to whine about it... even LGW. How sad.

I always wished Guerin was a Wing when he was in his prime. He seems like he would have been a great fit.
