Allow me to clarify: A) I don't hold any of his comments against him B) I would pick Crosby to be on my team before AO C) I think he is under immense pressure at a very young age The only thing I find annoying is that every time a topic like this comes up, you come into the thread with both fists swinging, questioning the validity of the thread. I was gonna respond to Doc Holiday, but since you had the most recent moronic post, I'll respond to yours. Follow closely... I'll speak in words you can, hopefully, easily understand. It's easy to be so nonchalant when you have ZERO PR expectations placed on you, besides your own. OV has no pressure to be anything but himself. Crosby on the other hand, well... I personally think that Crosby is twice the player that OV is. He matched him one for one last night (in front of a hostile crowd, no less) in spite of all the outside pressures placed upon him. All OV has to do is show up, receive sweet passes from Backstrom and score goals. Lay a few hits and dive once or twice... oh yea, and throw himself around the rink after he scores. Crosby has to be the face of his team, the face of the league, the Captain of his team, one of the primary playmakers of his team... and in spite of all that pressure, still matches OV in goals. Gimme that kid every day and twice on Sunday. Seriously... if the Capitals lose that series, is ANYONE gonna blame AO? Who's gonna catch the brunt of the hell if the Penguins lose? He's in a lose/lose situation. If he falls short in the playoffs... he sucks and is a crybaby. If he wins the Cup, Bettman handed it to him. Jesus...

It kinda read like a follow-up post, but I wasn't sure. Figured I'd follow up the follow up just to make sure. I also happen to agree with Doc Holiday for the most part. It just seems like every time a "Crosby said something stupid again" thread emerges, he comes flying in with a fist in the air and finger in their face. In retrospect, I was a little over the top in my initial response to him. That's my bad. I just don't understand why he gets so angry.

I never said anything about performing. This thread is in regards to the way he handles himself with the media... or did I miss something? I also said (twice... now 3 times) that he handles himself WAY better than I ever could at his age. I will say this though... it's pretty pathetic when a historical match-up occurred last night, which displayed 2 premier players notching hat tricks in the same game, and we get a thread discussing Crosby's COMMENTS. That's pretty weak, in my opinion.

My position that I think that Crosby may be buckling under the pressure and that he's handling his situation way better than I could have at his age is crap? Hmmmmm... ok. Do you even bother to read responses or do you just look for key words and blow a nut? Me, personally, I couldn't give two s***s what Crosby says or how he says it or why he says it. But in the post of yours that I quoted you made a comment about "where is the hockey discussion?". You seem to take Crosby bashing very personally. I guess I'm just curious why.
