I miss Vladdy every game. Regular season or playoffs.

Wow... most of this thread seems to be a discussion about Flip's salary. WHO GIVES A f***!?! It's the playoffs people. Salaries mean nothing. The roster is set. It is what it is. The team looked great last night. Flip played excellent. Who cares wether or not his play is worth 3 million? Man... no end to what some of you people will ***** about.

Don't you ever let it go? Won't you just enjoy an awesome victory for what it was? Good God man...

The "I Support Dan Cleary and Brad Stuart" Thread
Broken 16 replied to xBrave_Heartx's topic in General
Cleary is the Martin LaPointe of this era. Overpaid mucker with a good attitude. There are about 100 Dan Cleary clones in the NHL. This is all my opinion based on what I've seen from him thus far this season. My tune may change by the time the playoffs are over. I doubt it though. I do agree with the OP about Stuart though. A punishing blueliner is vital in the playoffs. I expect him and Kronwall to go ballistic in the playoffs. *fingers crossed* -

Just push Nash around and we should be fine. Wings in 6.

The key to replying to trolls is to make your reply WHILE still adding to the topic. It eliminates a lot of garbage posts. Notice how I replied to you and still made a remark regarding the current topic? Tricky eh? Watch... I like the idea of women not shaving their legs. Only thing is, that would be MORE of a sacrifice than the men are making.* *- see how that works? The force is strong in you, young padawan. All you need is a little wisdom.

I'm gonna cheat a little. I already have some growth starting today. Not sure how fast mine will grow, I've never let it get past the goatee or the occasional fu-manchu stage (that was only for playoffs in the beer leagues). I'll post pix when I get a chance in the beard thread.
-
Observe my responses in this thread. It's called staying on topic and ignoring trolls. Nice try on the sarcasm. Too bad you fail. Going back into 'Shoreline ignore mode'... I'd like to see a little more sacrifice from the women. And don't even start with the "We have to live with our men having stinky beards" angle... not buying it for a second.

NOW WE'RE GETTING SOMEWHERE!!!
-
That's closer. Way closer to strings on your wrist. That's for damn sure.
-
All it takes is one shift to get momentum on your side.
-
I gotta agree. Bracelets are weak. Where is the sacrifice? The only one that looks like a burden is that one with all the letters on it. I applaud that one. But the strings? Weak. Way too easy. Don't get me wrong. It's a cute idea, but isn't even in the same ballpark as wearing a nasty beard for 2+ months (hopefully).

If so, probably way more loaded on the front end. I would imagine. They say that once a player retires, his salary comes off the cap. Well, what if they "retire" and then come out of retirement 6 months later and sign with another team?
-
If I cared enough about either of you, I might consider rehashing old Coaches Corner snippets. But since I don't, I won't.
-
No you don't. He's nothing but a two bit sensationalist trying to remain popular by any means necessary. The dude is a toad. He's backward and useless in terms of promoting the NHL. I wish someone would pay him to retire. It's long overdue. Seriously, implying that Datsyuk is a dirty player? He doesn't even have the balls to come out and accuse him. He implies it. Nothing more than a washed up, has been, dinosaur trying to capitalize on a great players name. I wish someone would put that f***in moron out of his misery.

Lot's of topics are pretty much useless. I'm responsible for starting a few myself.
-
The truth is stupid? s***... I'm in trouble.
-
Apples and Oranges Sorry. I thought this thread was about what is going on right now. I'm responding to the stats that were given in the OP of THIS thread. I'm pretty sure we can compare careers in a slew of other threads about the same subject. Excuse me for trying to play along with the current topic. Not really directed at you as much.

Ok... Lets look at the last one. Good idea. Franzen was clutch. Hossa was average.
-
Who cares? Seriously. Why don't we talk about what happened 3 seasons ago. That would probably prove a lot. We're discussing current events in this thread. Welcome aboard. **EDIT** Looks like I might end up eating crow and admit that Shoreline was right. There are a lot of highly devoted/irrational Hossa fans. I HATE WHEN I HAVE TO EAT CROW... DAMMIT!

I said "On the ice, Franzen has proven more"... is there really a debate on that issue? It's pretty much black and white. In the past 14 games Franzen has been awesome and Hossa has been average (offensively). I watch both players very closely. Have for a long time. I'm not hesitant to say that it appears, to me, that Franzen is playing with more pep in his step than Hossa is. Right now. So... Like I said, one the ice, Franzen has proven more over the past 14 games. Both are under the pressure of lingering contract negototiations and Franzen just scored what might end up being one of the top 5 most spectacular goals scored this season. The dude feeds on pressure. Has proven that for 2 consecutive seasons. Right now, in the "which player is proving to be more clutch" category, Franzen is running away with it. It's still early...
-
Why wouldn't I be serious? Look at the totals for yourself. I never once said that Franzen was a better player, so you can unpuff your chest. I also don't recall ever saying that Hossa was done. Don't be blinded by a man crush...
-
Franzen has over 3X the points Hossa has over the past 14 games.
-
On the ice, Franzen has proven more... no question.
