This game makes me wonder. Being an avid foosball player, the hardest people to play against are the people that suck. Why? Because they are NEVER where they are supposed to be. They are always completely out of position and it f***s my game up. I wonder if that's why the Wings always play so well against the good teams and so s***ty against the lousy teams. Ya... it's a stretch. But it makes me feel better.

Holy crap... the Ozzie/Roy fight was lame as f*** compared to the Vernon/Roy fight. That goalie that flew into the pile is a complete dips***. He could have killed someone.

Datsyuk is head and shoulders more talented and unique than Zetterberg. Zetterberg is solid and talented. Datsyuk is special and unique.

Many years after that historic game (which I was wise enough to videotape), My wife and I inserted tape two of our glorious wedding reception... only to be greeted by Mickey Redmond and that horrible sack that was calling play-by-play after Strader's departure. Yep... I taped over the wedding reception. I still say it was worth every inch of celluloid.

Except that it wouldn't really settle the score. If the Wings won, there would still need to be a rubber match to determine the dominant team in SCF match-ups. It would be squared... but not settled.

I'd bet money that Malkin actually prefers it that way. Anyone with half a brain wouldn't want any part of the pressure that Crosby has. The people that matter know all they need to know about Malkin. He's fine.

Almost every post that dares to criticize Osgood has been filed in the "moronic post" bin. God forbid anyone call Osgood on the sub-par season he has had. Nice spin attempt anyway. You almost had me convinced (not really though).

Strange observations lately... Osgood supporters are WAY more low brow in their responses than any Osgood hater I have seen. What is that? Is there a drop in IQ once you become a staunch Osgood supporter? You rarely see this: Osgood supporter- Wow... Osgood was awesome tonight. Osgood hater- Eat s*** and die you f***in loser. Jealous people always try to find a way to knock someone down after a great achievement, hence this thread. Pathetic.

Not to get into a huge Ozzie debate with you, because, believe it or not, I'm as sick of it as you probably are. BUT... Ozzie has strung together 2 highly solid games and a decent game (tonight). Not exactly conclusive proof that he is 'back'. He's had an awful season on a personal level (stats wise anyway), was effectively benched recently, and let in two (arguably) soft goals tonight. It's going to take a lot more than a three game winning streak to comfort most people. If the defense is going to be lax, we need a goalie that's up to the task. Osgood has shown that, so far, he's not. Is every goal Ozzy's fault? Of course not. Would it be comforting to witness him steal ONE game this season? Hell ya...

Versus is a national broadcast. It wasn't a Conference match-up with heavy playoff implications. Nobody outside of Detroit or Philadelphia cares.

What Marty accomplished was absolutely amazing. God forbid the guy gets a little attention. It was and is Marty's night. I'm glad they stuck with it so long, personally.

Agreed. It's pretty pathetic when you get flames from hell just for pointing out a save that Ozzie SHOULD HAVE HAD. Bunch of Kool-Aid drinkers for sure.
