Is it fun to pick a small, insignificant portion of a post and absolutely hammer it into the ground? Or does it just make you feel smart? Because it seems like an epic waste of time. The point remains... the Wings would still be considered contenders without Hossa. And please don't imply that the Wings may have struggled to make the playoffs. They would have DEFINATELY made the playoffs. Wings in playoffs=SC contenders.

What does nationality have to do with anything? The best players are the best players regardless of where they come from. I'm pretty sure the Wings scouting staff is second to none. If there are any Russians worth scouting that would fit into our system, they're being scouted.

Never once thought he was washed up. Based on a lot of posts I've read from you, you seem to think there is some huge anti-Fedorov contingent on these boards. Which is odd since I've rarely seen anything but good things written about him here. I'm pretty sure everyone here knows that Fedorov is a solid NHL player nowadays.
