By now there should be more than enough ESPN channels to adequately accommodate hockey. I somehow have like 4 or 5 different versions of ESPN. NBC is a joke.

This. I remember a thread or article a while back that explained how NHL players are significantly bigger on average than they were 40 years ago, yet the rinks have stayed the same size. There is less room out there, and it might be a contributing factor to the injuries. I can't remember who the source of the article was, hope I'm explaining it properly. Bigger ice = better.

Some of the realignment stuff makes a little sense, but in NO way should they touch the current playoff format.

Agree. Lebda has really got to go. Not really stating anything new here, but he has reached the extent of his potential and his time here is finished, especially with Lilja and Kronwall back. Janik or even Kindl is a more appropriate replacement if needed. At least Meech has shown flashes of competency, and is far more versatile than Lebda can ever hope to be. I'm past the point of wanting some value for Lebda, just waive him and get it done with.

Whats the latest with Maltby's potential surgery? That would clear things up. Otherwise, time to say goodbye to Lebda.

I actually think its time to break up the Helm-Draper-Eaves line. They have been good and hardworking, but I would much rather see Draper back on the 4th and Helm centering the 3rd. Breaking up this line just gives us so many more options for line combos.

There's no way he can reach Gretzky. What people don't seem to acknowledge enough is how many assists Gretzky had. His assist total alone is higher than any other player's point total. That was always pretty impressive to me.
