i think nhl network leans more towards goals that were impactful in the game, whereas tsn leans more towards the pretty goals. That being said, i have NHL network and they play the top 10 episode like every other day, so il go with TSN on this one.

i didnt read the other comments yet but... why boo hossa? A good player who played hard for us all year (minus the finals, WE KNOW!). Hes not a goon, hes not a ******, he took a pay cut last year. No one REALLY expected him to stay, and we all knew we couldn't afford him long term. Personally, I'm happy for Hossa, he has another good shot at the cup, hes finally locked up with a good deal in a good franchise. As a wings fan its easy to start taking loyalty for granted. The core of the players throughout the years have been loyal long term guys, but on nearly every other team, players come and go all the time, on the wings when a player leaves it seems like some huge shock. He who boos hossa is a classless prick. (yes that godawful 'classless' phrase again)

saying that 'there defense is the same as last year, but their goaltending is worse' couldnt you say the same exact thing about us? That being said, they have quenville at the bench who will definately screw things up, and i predict the hawks will have tons of winning/losing streaks throughout season and finish behind us. The central division was the best last year and will likely be the best again

to be honest, that was the most poorly produced awards show ive ever seen. It looked as though it was put together by a bunch of 8th graders who got together that morning to begin planning. Then they tried to make it appealing to the masses by getting a bunch of HORRENDOUS singers and 'talent', which i had never even heard of, to fill in the extra hour+ of time needed. Roenick seemed drunk during the thing, and i know these guys are hockey players but.... was there something wrong with telepromper cause there was honestly not ONE single person who read their little forced statement properly. I love seeing the personality side of players, and the behind the scenes stuff. But the awards show was far from 'natural' behavior. I have never seen hockey players look more awkward and out of their element.

Final Words: Sigh wings. But... remember that three or four game stretch sometime in the winter where Kopecky was scoring all our goals? Classic.

Yes the wings need to play better, we know this. But if these allegations are true, and i would not be surprised, then this is simply disgusting and pathetic for the league in general. I wish there could be more exposure seen on this but i doubt we will ever hear anything. What is going to happen is the refs will call the pens for some obvious penalty early in the first when it doesnt matter. After that they will feel that they have assuaged the wings of any wrongdoing and allow the pens to do whatever they want (including cheat) for the rest of the game, while they call the wings for a couple more highly questionable ones.

that does sound about right. Now obvious there is the exception and there are decent and real pitt fans (yadda yadda) but all and all pittsburgh probably has one of the overall DUMBEST fanbases out there. Chicago has to be pretty close. This is what happens with pits fans since they only started watching hockey last . And LOL about datsyuk. You tell us that wings fan see it as they want to see it, but you are doing the exact same thing. Pens fans whined for 3 days about 'luck' and 'missed calls', and now you come onto our board to give us a lecture about legitimate complaints with the officiating.
