The way he went into the boards made my heart stop, it looked about as bad it gets. Not a dirty hit or anything, but head down head first into the boards is pretty much the worst thing that can happen to a player on the ice. He was moving his legs, and (sort of) skated off the ice, which is a great sign. However, I know these guys are tough, and even though he was able to move under his own power, the spine is a very fickle part of the body, and something could still easily be fractured. Just wondering if there is any news on him? I hope he is alright. Its scary to see that happen to anyone on any team, but i was relieved when his legs were moving. Also (not to be morbid), but does anyone have a clip of this hit? i can't seem to find one anywhere.
