If you Could Change Five Outcomes in Hockey History
hooon replied to GMRwings1983's topic in General
I know the OP said no Wings, but since everyone else is doing it... I don't want to be too much of a downer, but the Vladdy accident has to be up there for me. If Vladdy could have been a mainstay with all of those other HOFers, it is reasonable to suggest the Wings could have won another Cup or two. -
3 by Hudler the rest by Janik.

I wonder what the lines will be with Bert back in. I hope Nyquist isn't the odd man out...
-
Really hope they play better than they did last night. They did not look like an NHL caliber team and it was a little frightening. But I'll be optimistic! Play hard, score early, full 60, etc. Nyquist with the game winner. LGW

Mule, hooray.

FIGHT HIM Z!!

I wish I was watching the same game you are.
-
Howard should have skated it up ice.
-
Smith rules.
-
So much clutching and grabbing this game is not much fun to watch.
-
Life saver! Thanks!

Only several more hours to go!

New lines for tonight according to Babs: Flip-Z-Hudler Nyquist-Franzen-Cleary Miller-Helm-Abby Holmstrom-Emmerton-Mursak Might have gotten some of the sides wrong for the wingers. Hope Mule can rise to the occasion at center.

Really looking forward to this, just wish I didn't have to wait for all eternity to pass before game time. I hate using the term "must win" but this one sure feels like it. The Kings are a beatable team and the Wings really cannot afford to lose any more ground in the standings. Looking forward to seeing more of Nyquist and Smith, the one bright spot to all these injuries. LGW!!!

The reason The Wings shipped Mike Commodore
hooon replied to Wing Across The Pond's topic in General
This. As the article mentioned, a ton of it will come down to whether or not he wants to play in Detroit more than make a little extra money and get guaranteed playing time. Not an easy choice to make if you are a hot defense prospect. Anything that deepens our blueline is fine by me. -
Bone bruises are tricky. They usually aren't too serious but they take a long time to heal up, and are really hard to play through because of the swelling and the movement of the joints around the ankle. All you can really do is wait. Rather he just heals up properly, however long it takes.

Thanks so much for your work! Hope I can make another come-from-behind push like last year!
-
Looks like I was wrong about Abby.... Good luck, Andersson. Play hard.
-
Babs said he's pretty sure Abby is playing.

Reading this thread just reminded me of how Zetterberg was absolutely robbed of the Calder trophy. One thing I'm sure their ranking system overlooks is not just WHO the prospects are but HOW they're developed. The Wings may not got the highest picks or the most NHL ready prospects right out of the gate, but they have to be up there as one of, if not THE, best teams at developing the talent they have.
-
About 99% sure that is incorrect. They probably got confused by the report that they're both skating again, but neither is expected to return til next week.

Hockey parent uses laser pointer to "blind" opposing goalie
hooon replied to Gizmo's topic in General
Hope the charges screw him over big time. It also kind of sucks that their league didn't let them redo the period as requested. It was a playoff game! Its not like the team demanded they forfeit or be disqualified, just that the third period be replayed fairly. -
This season I'm leaning toward Lucic.
-
Didn't Jagr get hurt also after the hit from trying to run Fil?
-
Wow that is an overpayment. There is no way Fil will ask for that much, and there is no way the Wings would pay it.
