The reported lines for Chicago: Sharp-Morrison-Kane Brunette-Bolland-Hossa Bickell-Kruger-Stalberg Hayes-Mayers-Frolik Looks pretty weak to me. Even with Datsyuk out that is a very beatable lineup. Morrison as their number 1? Good opportunity to get the road record back on track.

Lines tonight will be 93-40-44 11-51-26 20-43-8 39-48-96 These next few weeks will be a great time for #51 to break out of scoring slump. Hope he can generate some good offense tonight, especially because the Hawks will probably have a weak 2nd line with Toews out.

Their fans are way worse than Wings fans when it comes to knee jerk reactions (and we aren't so great ourselves). Last week they were all pretty unanimous in saying they should fire coach Q. Many of them discussed trading Kane and Kieth. And now after 3 wins its back to talk of Toews for the Hart and Crawford as the hottest goalie in the league. To me his "thank the NHL" comment means moreso thank them for being the most difficult sport to watch on TV anywhere in the world. Sometimes it seems as though they DON'T want fans to watch their product at all. What with the nonsensical blackout restrictions, only one national network that actually broadcasts games, and very limited or nonexistent out of market coverage. I don't go out of my way to stream games online, I do it when I have no other options to watch the game, which unfortunately is more often than not. Meh. What's with other teams fans coming in and making pre-game posts like this? You are either setting out to gloat like a troll if the Nucks win or get absolutely ridiculed if they lose. And weren't all Canucks fans saying the LAST game between these teams was the year's biggest "measuring stick"? Where'd the Canucks measure in that one? Like others have said, this is a regular season game with 2 points on the line, nothing more, nothing less. Its like fans think their team will get more than 2 points in the standings if they beat the Wings.

I'd doubt very very much if the Hawks tried to claim him. They are desperate in goal, but in all honestly having Conklin could make things worse for them somehow. Crawford has at least played well the past couple games so I'm guessing they're just hoping for the best with him from here on out. I do feel bad for Ty, it cannot be easy to get waived from a team at this point in your career and not be sure if you've played your last NHL game. Still, Joey has been awesome and now we can finally have a normal goalie rotation for the last 20 or so games. Hoping Jimmy hasn't lost a step and plays the way he was before the broken finger. I do feel more confident in our goalie situation than I have in several years.
