Bummed he's not doing the shootout... or pretty much any of the other events. What's the point in only letting a couple guys do each event? Or am I reading this wrong...

The weird thing is that both of his linemates are scoring more than they ever have in their careers. While we probably won't ever see the 40 goal Zetterberg of yore, I have faith that his pace will pick up in the second half and the playoffs. Having 3 potential top 6 centers is a huge asset for this team, glad we are able to roll such a strong top 6 down the middle.

Of all the issues with the ASG, this is one that doesn't bother me.

At the very beginning of the game Pierre was going on and on about how Ericsson is getting an opportunity to step into Lidstrom's shoes and how he was so "ready" for the chance at top minutes. Insanely awful game, but it happens. I think they still would have lost pretty bad even if Lidstrom was in. Still have a great team here, games like this have hopefully exposed their weaknesses and they have an entire week to rest up and figure it out. I think the Blues have sort of created the blue print for how to beat us with a relentless forecheck and forcing awful passes. The crazy thing is how many more goals MTL could have scored if not for blatant misses and posts and the occasional save. Feel kind of bad for the fans who attended the game, especially if you don't get to see the Wings too often, hope you guys still managed to have a good time despite the score. Just one game, time to move on and improve, still a lot of season left.

It made sense earlier in the year when we had need for a center on the 4th line because both Abby and Helm were on the third line. I'd like to see something more along the lines of: Mursak-Helm-Cleary Miller-Abdelkader-Connor/Holmstrom

Howard pulled after the 1st period and letting in 4 goals. He wasn't good but the D was awful. Conklin hasn't helped any.

Definitely want a better start to the game than the last outing. Montreal isn't that good, but those seem to be the teams the Wings underestimate. I want Pavel to keep scoring. To all those attending the game, have fun! LGW!

He got punched in the face. What else would he have done? And what could the players on the ice have done differently? There were 6 Blues forwards one the ice and all of them had a Wing tied up, leaving the 6th guy on Howard. I don't like that those were the players out there, but what exactly is Howard supposed to do differently when he gets suckere punched in the face?
