IMO he has pretty much stalled out offensively, I haven't seen anything to indicate he is improving in that area, despite annual expectations of him taking the next step. I know, I know... injuries, linemates, etc. He is very solid defensively though, and underrated overall. I have no problem with what he brings to the team. Doubt he'll ever see a Selke nomination though.

Hitch would be ideal. Even if its only for 1 or 2 seasons. I don't really know enough about lower level coaches to even know who might be in the mix.

The only person here that is being negative here is you. Calling people "fuc*ing trolls" and insulting anyone who disagrees with you is far more negative than someone pointing out that your ideas are a tad unrealistic. Perhaps it would help to actually do some research on the players you are attempting to discuss, instead of presenting completely false information as fact, and insulting those who point out the ridiculousness of some of your ideas.

I will admit I don't know a whole lot about him, but from what I recall about what I've read... Laziness is EXACTLY the reason he has been bounced around from team to team. Yes it has been consistency problems, but my understanding is those consistency problems stem directly from his work ethic, or lack thereof. If partying is a problem, as has been mentioned, how is that not a matter of work ethic? I think people get a little hypnotized by players like Wolski and Zherdev because they have amazing hands, can throw a flashy deke, and have interesting highlight reels on youtube that show an extremely subjective sample size of the player's ability. To clarify, for the right price, I'd take him. But I think other teams are willing to pay more, and I say let them.

Except, those weren't his words at all. You can make anything sound nice and rosy if you take it out of context and change the words around. To clarify, what he ACTUALLY said was: "It's not hard if you're playing in the paint. It's an easy save for me..." Not trying to make a big deal out of a small statement, I just found it ironic given the timing of his previous two performances. The way he said it sounded condescending and boastful. Nothing wrong with that, I just found it funny, coming from him.

Its not that Luongo is necessarily wrong in his assessment, its the irony of the timing when he just came off a 12 goal against performance in the past 2 games. He is hardly in any position to critique someone else's performance - especially when that performance was a 1gaa game where Thomas STILL stood on his head and made some incredible saves. I didn't notice Thomas bragging and boasting after his shutouts this year.

Lindros was the first thing that came to mind. I remember being a young kid and losing a lot of respect for him for his refusal to play for the team that drafted him. I don't know much about Max Domi, but I certainly remember what a wonderful human being his father was.

From what I understand about Bryz too... he isn't exactly a very humble guy, and he has a VERY high opinion of himself. In that recent vote of all the Russian players (won by Datsyuk, incidentally), all the Russian players voted on who they thought was the best Russian in the NHL. Even Ovi voted for Datsyuk, but IIRC Bryzgolov voted for himself lol. Kinda not surprised he wants 6-7 mil, but with the Cap going up, and some teams desperate for a goalie, I don't think its that much of an overpayment. I still prefer the Wings system of cheap reliable goalies, but, meh.

I don't get why everyone thinks that simply playing on the Wings is enough to get someone's act together. The Wings do not like to sign lazy underachievers, and this type of player never lasts long on the Wings. If the Wings organization is so good at whipping these players into shape... why are we still complaining about Hudler? What happened with Leino? Lang? Williams? I understand that players like Cleary and Eaves have found success here, but these were not players who were categorized by their laziness affecting an abundance of talent - they were always hard working players who simply never produced offensively the way their draft selection might have suggested.

Forgot one more:

Wait Boston has "****** fans" and Vancouver doesn't? The Bruins are the team in the black and gold right?

Or the fact that the Bruins simply cannot score on the PP for anything.
