Yeah it was pretty dead for the most part. They would cheer at the weirdest times, like if a Hawks player had a 1 against 4 and dumped it in... Kane was invisible all game, in fact, all of their CORE (durrhurrrrr) players were pretty invisible out there.

I was at the Hawks game tonight. Pretty fun to see them lose to the Yotes, who played without Bryz.

Rangers and Caps were pretty scrappy in the first. Blast by Erskine ties it at 2. Aaand as I type that, Boogard blasts a goal. 3-2 rangers

Love what Abby has been doing. I could definitely see him being a 20 goal scorer in the next couple of years, and likely even this year. Its just the way he goes into the corners and fights for pucks, forechecks, hits, and always moves his feet. Sure, he could improve a little at fighting, but the mere fact that he DOES fight is encouraging. A lot of guys who lose their first couple of fights would tend to avoid them all together, but Abby seems to enjoy it.

That is really awesome! After reading this thread a few weeks ago, I was wondering how it all turned out. Sounds like a truly unique experience, and awesome that you got to meet some of the players!!! Sled hockey seems like a really awesome game with a lot of great people surrounding it. Shame you couldn't win, but just competing on that ice is enough I'm sure. Thanks for sharing your story!
