How long ago was that call up? how many games did Leino play when he played in finland? he played a max of 57 games.. He's isn't physically into the game. He will take an asswhooping from the ducks players. He hasn't played a team like the ducks before in his career. Listen i stated my oppinion, did i say the wings have to do this? did i say i called holland and put in a good word? no i stated a freakin opinion.. Leino and Abdelkader are basically the same when it comes to stats.. Leino has more A's and Justin has more G's.. Ab's plays a style of play that would be beneficial torwards out team right now.. You dont have to agree with my opinion, But you sure as hell dont have to talk to me like a child either. You want a discussion i'll give it to you. But dont talk to me like a kid.

Leino isn't ready. The past two games against Manitibo he was outplayed by alot of players.. wasn't making anything happen. Abdelkader on the other hand was a beast all series. Hitting anything that moved. crashing the net.. making plays happen. and Abdelkader would be a good addition for the 4th line since he plays a 4th line style anyway. Not saying Leino isn't talented, but if they put Leino in over Abdelkader there doing it for the wrong reasons.. Because Justin was a warrior through this series.

Positives? Hopefully Holland will realize Hossa isn't worth the money. So we can keep Hudler and Sammy. Hopefully Kenny realizes theres a difference between outhitting a team, and out playing a team physically. Helm has been the only player who has the intent on running the player through the boards this whole series. Val - Dats - Homer Huds- Zette - Franzen Cleary - Helm - Sammy Kopecky - Draper - COLTON ORR!!!! BOOM. Thats what i want to see next year

If RaIf is somewhat good to go.. Give him Cheli's minutes.. Put him on the 3rd pairing with Lebda.. and PP duty.. Limit his minutes.. a Hurt Rafalski is better then a healthy Chelios.. my 0.02$ I wouldn't mind seeing Meech being subbed in for Chelios.. atleast Meech can move the puck. and make a pass.

we lost.. didn't get nothing on net.. Pyett was in for lashoff.. Downey was in the middle of everything.. Mac was talking to some dude all game.. Dekadeer was hitting anything and everything.. Tardif had a solid game.. Kolosov was the reason the 2nd goal went in. But in the end Howard let 2 soft goals go in. ANYWAY, I met kyle quincey tonight, he's such a nice guy.. shook his hand, told him looking forward to seeing you in the playoffs next year.

I missed the spear evidently.. I was behind the griffins bench, so there was a good chunk of stuff to obstruct my view. I still love the downs.

Not really, i dont know what happened, i kind of missed it, But all of a sudden i see a Tibo player, Fall on the ice clinching his arm or something.. Then someones goes after him near the Griffs bench.. Downey gloves fly off.. and the guy skates away.. Then on the way to the Penalty Box, Keane has some words with him, and Downey charges him. Overall Downs had a stout game.. A player ran Leino while he was on the ice.. and Downs takes a run at him after the whistle.. no penalty, but he made it known your not gonna mess with out skilled guys. DUDE, I got me a Downey Griffins T-Shirt Jersey.. It's sooooo sweet.

He doesn't get called because he doesn't run around and have intent to injure.

Draper/Helm and Malts. I think Malts is being overlooked.. He's being a s*** stirrer out there every s***. He'll be drawing alot of penalties the longer this series goes on.

That wasn't intentional.. i guarentee it. He was skating with momentum, he made a quick turn, 2 d-men moved in close to him. It looked bad, but it wasn't much of anything.. Bummed that Kolo was acting like a punk just letting that guy jab him in his grill over and over

He got 12 PIM's in 1 game because of a check from behind, Got the original penalty and a misconduct.. Other then that it looks like it's alot of Interference penalties and illegal uses of the stick "hooking,cross checking" were the most common. Going to Boston College, he better shape up quick, a good school like that wont tolerate it.

I dont think penalties will be a deciding factor.. for as many aggresor type penalties the ducks do, the wings will end up taking as many stick penalties. I hope there is a buzzing hate swirling in the joe though.

What are some of your best memories from this series? Ericsson almost fighting Dorsset, Pavel going ape on Vermette and Boll.. Stuarts hit on Umberger... Commodore throwing himself into our bench. I think Detroit will bring in some Vetran's for tryout this year, unlike last.. Might not be straight up enforcers.. but possibly some gritty players. I think we'll see a boost in FM next year though.. With Big Rig and Lilja playing together with the 6th pairing.. Both will prolly stick up for eachother and clear the crease for the goalie.. Abdelkader i'll assume will get a few more games next year, I dont expect him to ever have more then 4-5 fights in a year through his career, but he will scrap if the moment is right. and with his confidence rising hopefully some more chippy play will result from him also Mac and Downs have proven to still be viable options for call ups next year.. Downey is skating the best he has in along time, and Mac's superior positioning doesn't make him a liability. It's a stretch, But maybe Jakub Kindl gets a call up. He's not the most chippy player, But he's certaintly an upgrade over Raffi and Lebda when it comes to physical play from the D. He's had 2-1-1-2 for fights the past years and none this year. So maybe when he gets a call up, He'll do it to get noticed more.. to say Hey, I may be an awesome offensive talent.. I may lack a bit on the defensive side.. But i'll chuck em for my team to make up for what i lack. Optimism, It's a lions fans best friend.. and it carries over to the wings
