You know its bound to happen.. Devils/Canes will be horribly boring.. Boston Series and Flyers series, will be great.. both big rivalry games.. Im mostly looking for ward to Pits and Philly.. Thats the series i'll be tracking even more then the wings. In the west, it could of only gotten better if Calgary played Columbus.. But i'll settle with what we got. San Jose and Anaheim will be good fun. Wonder if Anaheim is kicking themselves for trading Moen to them? Im predicting the upset there though. Nabakov is playoff suspect. Semenov/Murray on your D? and Claude Lemuixe on your fourth line? GTFOH. Detroit and Columbus should be good fun.. Raffi Torres and Jared Boll and Mike Commodore will make it entertaining.. But im scared of Mason.. I'd of rather faced JS. Vancouver and Blues, are splitting images of eachother except Vancouver has better goaltending.. BUT.. Blues are coming in red-hot.. I'll say Nucks in 7.. Calgary was swept by the Hawks in regular season.. BUT.. Playoffs is Flames hockey.. and the hawks are still young and in-experienced. The Prediction is.. Cant argue the man puts up Points, and He plays Point on the PP for the best PP. Detroit wont be able to come close.. Hossa i think will get his Cup and run, and/or Detroit will come to there senses that they dont want to deal with the cap issues for the next 10 years.. Minus Hossa, we'll get back to a solid 2-way hockey team. I think lately Val has shown what we all thought he could do, He is making plays.. putting himself in good scoring chances, SOOO next year will be make or break for him, whether or not he becomes a legit scoring forward or just a defensive specialist. I hope we can get some toughness on the team, even if its a Matt Walker, Sheldon Brookbank type 7th d-man sitting in the press box until some injuries happen. Wouldn't mind them sneaking in a 4th line guy like Rupp or Thornburn. I like Rupp alot mostly because he isn't going to fight for no reason, He's smart about it just like Downey, But Rupp is actually a relatively solid player. A PWF that didn't develop to his full potential. Overall im more excited about next years team then i'am this years.. Hossa was nice and all.. But i think it was a very NYY move, and i just hate that style of winning. But i wont complain with a cup People need to stop talking about trading Staurt and Cleary, If you got rid of them you got rid of the last 2 players on the team with any physical presence at all. And they are good 2-way players.. not 1 dementional.. You see the price tag and you freet. But they are vital to this MFing team

Dude Sammy is ripped, and huge.. He's not a lanky guy at all.. Im content with Sammy, He chirps and agitates.. atleast he contribues in some form. Franzen is a cream puff though.. With that size, you should be able to throw a meaningful hit everyonce in awhile.. But to fans and teams everywhere he is known as one of the softest players on the wings.. Franzen will continue to get picked on every game because ever team knows he'll do nothing about it.. It's a bigger morale booster by making a 6'3'' 230lb player skate away then it is having a Hudler,Val skate away.

Lilja wont be back for the beginning of the playoffs. so i'd start it out with either Ericsson/Lebda or Ericsson/Chelios. Chelios is a warrior, He's rather dirty still, I trust him more defensivly then i do Lebda.. But Lebda does have the wheels.. So im up in the air. But i'll lean towards Lebda.. When Lilja returns, I'd go with Lebda/Lilja just because they have chemistry together.. and Lebda has the speed to cover up for Lilja's mistakes. While Lilja re-adjusts to the game. Or Ericsson in for Lebda because he's toooo good to not play. But anything but meech.. Meech is better then Cheli and Lebda offensivly.. But Defensivly he is borderline retarded.
