Kopecky has been good for the past week or two.. before that he was a straight up bum.. Is he gaining confidence? yah, is he becoming a better player? yah. But just because he turns it around, dont all you people get on your knees at once and start blowing the guy.. He still has marginal talent and skates like antropov's twin. He's got alot of ways to go before he gets kudos from me.

Jamie Tardif, My favorite Griffin. doesn;t seem to be pulling his weight like he was last year.. I thought this would really be a break out year for him.. having a contract with the wings and all

Mule at 4 or Hossa at 7? I'll take Mule and Hudler for a collective 6.. instead of having Hossa at just 7. People are writing off Mule it looks like.. He's a scorer, he goes into the gritty places. I still enjoy the wings.. I just am not overly happy with the style of play they've been playing. I honestly dont care if Detroit leads the league in fighting majors, I just want to see some chippy play.. By no means should Datsyuk be your most physical forward.. We're just to eurofied. At the same time i'll never give up on my wings. As much as i love fights, im sickened by teams who try to move the puck.. and just cant get anything going because there d-maen suck.

As much as i love my boy Downs.. He's not an everyday enforcer.. He's a legit enforcer in the fighting sense.. Just not in the player sense. Good to see him up though, I want more Abdelkader.

As long as that russian is Ovechkin hell yah. Nah, I'd prefer Russians over Swedes..

Downey had Lappys attention all night, Lappy wasn't running around at our stars, he was aiming for Downey. and McLeod was invisible and so was McCormick. in the STL game, Winchester and Janssen were on downey all game, had no effect on anyone else of ours.. Look at the Nashville game, and you saw Weber and Tootoo just running around, because they had no-one to look at them in the face and make them chose otherwise. Am i trying convert people into thinking hockey fighters/goons are a viable part of hockey. But they are not just 1 demention for the most part.. guys like Downey are part time enforcers.. they are good in short stints.. But any extended period of time, there lack of skill will show through, where as guys like Asham always have there skill to fall back on, when there fists and intimidation skills aren't needed.
