But if its anything like the TB situation with Vinny, The GM said they are not trading Vinny, but they are still fielding offers for him in hopes of a steal. If i was Tampa i'd be holding out until i could ATLEAST get Higgins,Komisarek,Max Pasccoritty(sp?), Max Lappiere and a 1st Then i'd be tempted

Dude, If i was Anaheim, I'd trade Pronger for Seabrook straight up.. You drop a huge contract, you add a young kid with a good contract who plays a similar game as prongers.. Chicago would probably have to add a mid round pick and a prospect.. but s***.. your offer is over payment as f***

It's not that he hasn't earned his spot. He has. MY GUESS, is that Detroit still wants him to blossom. and with the confidence boost of playing in Detroit for a nice stint. Detroit is just hoping it will carry over to GR and result in more offensive production.. -- Leino on the other hand, He's very offensive. but his skating needs work and provides no grit and not the best defensive forward. If i had to make a bet. Leino wont be on the starting roster come game 1 of the playoffs.

I wouldn't mind BGL, he's better then nothing.. But if i had my choice he'd be down the list aways.. He's not a horrible enforcer. He does a good job of keeping the other teams at bay. But he's over priced for having a glass groin. Idealy i'd like to have a guy like BJ Crombeen in the line up full time.. He's skilled, he crashes and bangs and fights... and have like a 13th forward being a solid enforcer.

Syked as hell. Downs gets another shot, I think what they are doing is good. You send Helm and Leino down for a few games, Let them work on parts of there game. Helm, scoring, Leino grinding. Let Downey take some punishment away from the players while they play St Louis and Colorado. Depending on how Big Rig does, will tell us if we do anything at deadline time for a depth d-man. and Downs will do enough to keep the flies off down the stretch.

Tom Preissing just got waived by LA. If he doesn't get claimed, Maybe LA will put him on re-entry and Detroit might take a look at him.
