Lilja - making smart plays.. looks to be a bit more fit this year compared to last.. not as physical, but he's being smart.. Gets alot of crap on forums and other people.. He's not flashy, but he gets the job done. Hudler - was a doubter his whole career. proven me wrong Lebda - Really turned it on after the earley season dibacle. Conklin - Didn't expect him to do so well. Chelios - He honestly doesn't look to bad out there.. i thought he'd be god awful

Which Wings have disappointed you this year?
xBrave_Heartx replied to KrazyGangsta's topic in General
Kopecky - expected him to come out banging and really throwing the body around. He's had his moments, but i expected him to make his way onto the 3rd line more often then not.. Im a closet fan, He makes me mad so much, But i've followed him forever so i still keep faith for my boy Koko Kronner - I was hoping he'd continue superman-ing hoes. But he came out stale.. lately he's been trying to step up more.. i can diggit.. Offensivly i think he moves the puck phenominaly.. Meech - I expected him to make life rough for Lebda to stay in the line-up.. He hasn't proven to be anything more then another lebda. needs to be more offensive. Other then that, i cant say im surprised by Ozzie,Malts,Drapes play. -
Ott down'd
-
Even a enforcer fan like me, would want Neil/Lappy locked up for future years.. if if if.. we traded for them.. not trading away a high pick for a 4th line rental
-
I've liked the past two games.. pleasent surprises.. pleased with kopecky also..
-
I would love either of the 3 Neil,Lappy,Roberts. Roberts is a playoff performer.. would contribute the same as Drake did last year.. Lappy i still cant imagine an ave in a wings jersey.. Neil is on my #1 list
-
We'll land Chris Neil at the trade deadline. Before the dead line, everyone knew we were targetting Brad Stuart.. and to this day, it seems like the only player thats even being talked about for Detroit is Chris Neil.. We cant give up a 2nd rounder, so im guessing a 3rd and a prospect? or just a prospect straight up.. It would be a huge boost to our 4th line.. Come playoffs we could do alot of things. Chirping, Energy Malts - Drapes - Neil Hitting, Energy Kopecky - Drapes - Neil Skilled, Energy Leino - Kopecky - Neil Hahah i tottaly used Kopecky and Skill in the same sentance.. harsh.. It's my gut feeling, Anyone else have gut feelings on who we might grab? I'm also thinking Kari Lethonen. Everyone is counting him out, being made of glass. But he came into the league with high expectations on a crap team, Detroit would ground him, not work him to death.. I think we could pull it off.. The salary would be the bug-a-boo. Anyone feel similar? or not at all

I think that goal should of counted. the ref was enthusiastic that he saw the puck cross the line. wouldn't of mattered anyway
-
Eklund from hockeybuzz.com used e1 - e2 - e3 - e4 - e5 for the validity of his rumors/possible trades.. so an E11 is just making fun of eklund.

Neil fits this perfectly.. Maybe Laraque who has already being mad about lack of PT, feeling like he made bad descision about signing in MTL in off season.. Voros could be good also. He's been reported to be on the block in New yourk, not a legit enforcer.. but he'd be fine.. Lappy would be awesome, but i still couldn't imagine a ave being a wing.. ever.. Other then that, Boll is off limits for sure. BJ Crombeen we already had a shot at and didn't pick him up.

He just needs a couple 5 minute majors and he'll be my favorite prospect.
-
Also Havelid makes 2.7m a year.. Sammy 1.2 - Lebda 650k - Meech 483k That alone would clear up 2.2m in space.. prorated throughout the season, we might have enough room for Havelid then.. But isn't that alot of money to pay your D? Depth from atlanta would be more along the lines of Exelby for 1.4. I wouldn't mind trading Sammy for Armer or Exelby + Prospect/Late Pick straight up.. But i like Sammies agitating qualities.. He isn't an Ott/Avery agitator.. but he seems to get under players skin quite easily. We could eat Neil's salary if we added a Lebda or Meech into the mix, Since contracts would be pro-rated. I wouldn't mind doing Meech and a prospect or Meech and a 4th..

HAHAHAHA AN E11 I LOVE YOU
-
Ericsson? Kindl? thats enough depth.. i'd rather give it to them, then to a 30yo scrub
-
I still want Chris Neil..
-
Wouldlnt mind him showing his face in the winge wheel a few more times this year..

Same. -
If he will take a realistic contract for us, he'll stay regardless.

10days was from his last start to now..

Is it time to make some major moves for this year's playoff run?
xBrave_Heartx replied to boomer's topic in General
I'd like to see a banging forward. "Lappy,Neil,Armstrong" a guy who can add some sandpaper.. Some ruggidness is something we're missing.. In the playoffs, guys like Malts,Drapes,Cleary and everyone else really turn it on physically.. But guys like Neil,Lappy,Armer could really put us at par with the rest of the league.. Im content with our defense.. Lebda has been a pleasent surprise after the beggining of the season travesty. He's came around.. Meech isn't too bad .. And Cheli is still a art-ful d-man, he knows the in's/outs of the position.. just doesnt have the feet to be an everyday guy anymore. I think our goaltending is fine.. Conks is doing great, Ozzie hopefully will turn it around.. Defensivly we need to get tighter.. Offensivly we need to get some lines set in stone. I want chemistry and co-hesiveness come playoff time. -
I like it.
-
Word, and hopefully he can get some good chemistry with Kronner before we enter the playoffs.. I want no question marks heading into the playoffs..
-
I like malts still, expecially when he plays with a chip on his shoulde.r
-
Word is that they picked him up, becuase there going to trade 2 roster players and an AHL player to Ottawa for Spezza
