    Is Kindl following Ericsson’s footsteps?

I see him being an Andrej Meszaros type player. Good Comparison?

Heatley traded to Sharks for Michalek, Cheecho, 2nd Round Pick

I prefer this over Stoll and Frolov.

    Rumor: Danny Heatley to Sharks

Only team i dont like this for is Ottawa, and I seem to be in the minority here. Taking on 2 Big Salaries.. 1 under performing player. 1 player who should be a more prolific scorer then what he is. Heatley Could/Can net as many points as both of them combined this year. I guess I am on the fence. I hate Danny, He's a cancer. So putting him in SJ, Makes me think that they are going to fall to pieces sooner or later. So getting rid of him is a addition by subtraction IMO. I just think Ottawa could of pulled off something a bit more cap friendly. Frolov and Moller? Frolov and Simmonds? I'd take that over Stoll and Frolov. Overall i think the biggest winner is LAK - Dustin Brown - Anze Kopitar - Michael Handzus Ryan Smyth - Patrick Marlaeu - Justin Williams That is a pretty solid top six imo.

    GDT 9/7 Redwings v Carolina

Yah I am mos def a fan of energy and making plays happen. If i had to list the biggest offensive threats that game, Dick wouldn't be on the top 5. He overall didn't look out of place, But he also didn't show that elite offensive talent that I've heard about.

    GDT 9/7 Redwings v Carolina

I was at the game.. i posted my analysis on RWC so if you want to check it out, its there Redwingscentral.com Overall, It was a good game. Tatar, Mursak and Emmerton line was fire. Dick Axelsson did not impress one bit. not at all.. Johnston was invisible.. Callahan, wasn't talking or chirping, but he was hitting and creating energy and making plays.. on top of that in between whistles he was using his stick to bump people. *on accident* of course Overall, Tatar really impressed. As did Piche, Piche was a open ice hitting machine. Between open icers and lining up hip checks he really caught my eye, and can move the puck was really impressed. Talked to some ATL prospects at wendy's later and one said he almost fought callahan sunday and then he also said that Landon Ferrero was one of the toughest to play against.

Who will have more fighting majors?

Ericsson.. Only guy that will play enough games to get enough fighting majors. Tuzzi isn't a fighter, Abdelkader wont play enough. Nobody else has a chance.

Scoring Wise Ilya Kovalchuk - Ryan Getzlaf - Rick Nash Chris Pronger - Zdeno Chara Physical Wise Jordin Tootoo - Steve Ott - Sean Avery Garnet Exelby - DALE PURINTON!!!

    McCarty likely to retire

Best of luck Mac I saw you make your comback. first in Muskegon, at 11am in the morning playing the Muskegon Fury, Then i saw your second home game with the Griffins as they played the Admirals. Then your First game back with the wings against the Blues on March 28th. Then also the playoff game against Nashville where he scored his playoff goal. All In Person, And it's one of my shinning moments as a fan, being able to follow my child hood idle as he climbs the hockey ranks once again From nothing to something in no time flat. Sure he had alot of help, But he wouldn't be in the position if he wasn't willing and capable. No doubt he'll pull through and find a career. Hopefully revolving around Detroit Hockey, But if not. Hopefully with Hockey or Detroit in general.

Anyone Else Liking The Leafs Right Now?

There D is pretty solid IMO. Kabrele - Schenn Komisarek - Beauchemin Exelby - White?Van Ryan?Finger?Ores? Forward wise? WDF?!!? Alot of potential. But not enough talent regardless. They'll need to move a D-Man or two, to get some talent in there IMO.

    Any grinders left?

He was with Vancouver a year before last, then fell off the map. I wouldn't mind Brad at all. But i think he's done, No real chance for the NHL. He played in the Swiss league last year. His numbers were not overly impressive for being in a much less respectable league.
