Because you cant police the ice like you used to be in the old nhl.. and and yah alot of fights this year are snoozers.. Alot of fighters dont want to go toe-2-toe. which sucks, but oh well..

All you have to do is SUSPEND, players who drag other players to the ice.. The reason why we've had 2 bad incedents is because the players were pulled down to the ice, momentum smacking there head on the ice.. For every incident where that happens, bad or not, you give a 10 game+ suspension.. make a statement. and you know what will happen?problem solved.

Which is ridiculous. He's a good skater, he has offensive instict, he is a scoring line player, throw him on a line with Sammy and Cleary, of course he isn't going to make much happen. Lately with Hossa he's been pretty solid. has 6 goals 20 assist, only 10 points to go to match last years total of points. He's not an elite talent, but he's a good set up man when he has people to set up. 2 different players, Val isn't known as a goal scorer, he's a 2-way forward. something Hudler is not.. Hudler wont be on the ice when Crosby/Malkin come to town. Val will be shutting down one of them.

I dont know how i feel if we signed Hossa instead of Franzen. Even though Franzen isn't a punishing physical specimen. He still has great size and plays the body alot more then Hossa. I cant argue with results though Hossa is a scoring machine and best of all.. isn't an injury waiting to happen. If i had my choice I'd rather sign Huds and Franzen over Hossa.. But either way i wont be disappointed, It's a great problem to have.

Im not giving up on Filppula, He seemed to click well with Hossa. If they can get a good combo going, We have two great scoring lines. Which should lead us to another cup if our Defense can come around
