How do you know Cooke didn't think he would of hit Savard high? I do not like the league determining this. I really just want the players to police themselves...

Glad you can manage to read minds of people. What do I want for lunch while you are at it? That said, I just miss the days where both players in this situation had accountability. Cooke has the accountability that if he hits a star player, he will have to answer the bell. And if the star player leaves himself vulnerable with a player like Cooke on the ice, that's his issue...

I'm not going to go into what exactly I would do. But if this team misses the playoffs, or has an early exit there better be pretty significant changes.

I'm at the point where there is nothing you could do to the line up that would make it worse(Obviously in reason). We need to try anything and everything. I'd much rather try Zetterberg/Datsyuk together before putting Helm in an already bigger role. Helm is a bottom 6 penalty killer. Giving him top 6 ice time, while maintaining his PK role is a large large burden. Especially when his game is revolved around his effort on ice.

Yeah, besides a change or two it's pretty much what I see happening. And I do feel it would be a top 5 team, barring injuries of course.

Where is the enforcer? And is Bertuzzi really going to get a pay raise and earn more than Holmstrom?

Can't go wrong with either Lidstrom or Howard. I went with Howard, because his performance has been more unexpected and I'm just spoiled after seeing Lidstrom dominate for 15ish years.
